Good Samaritan Inn, Tampa FL

Was staying here 10days had my baby doll dress stolen and RICK kicked me out bc his girlfriend took it he doesn't even have a reason for kicking me out And kept my 60$ rent for the 5days after I'm staying in an abandoned house now I spoke to Rick and still no reason. RAIDEN INK ENT. IM RAIDEN ROSS is who I stayed to my business and bothered no one I guess that's the issue.

At first they were kind and I felt mostly safe there until I had some of my things go missing. I had a room to myself and a lock on the door. Later several more times my things were missing out of my room. It seems the staff were stealing my things. Several other people came to me and told me they had things stolen also. They told me I could stay as long as I want then when I reported my things missing they threw me out. Some people told me the same thing happened to others who complained.

Dirty and people are laying everywhere. This needs to be safer for people and open doors for people with kid (s). Prices are too high for people that can't afford it. I went here to help and drop off a friend.it was so bad I told them to stay with me for a while.the government needs to look into them. It's unlivable

Gave me a opportunity to lay my head when no where else I can go. Great shelter, people and yet other goods to life! The guy offered one night with your sign off, but then explained one free night on the couch to test comfortability. Just Great.

The classic tampa feel of staying in a beautiful historic building coupled with homestyle service and location.puts this on the hostel connoisuers must stay list.

This place saved my life, while I suddenly became homeless singel mom, leaving A extreme domestic abuse situation, it provided me shelter and a place to call home, stay safe, while getting back on my feet, I will forever be grateful, forever in love with the charm and it should be protected as a historical site️

John Watson/GSI saved my life back in 1993.

John Watson should be declared a Saint. He deals with some really tough situations.but I have NEVER heard him utter a curse word and takes vans full of kids and families to church on Sunday.

He walked me thru getting some benefits that I qualified for but was too young to understand the process.

This place put a roof over my head and a bed to sleep in.

Would I recommend this place to someone NO.

A good place to stay if you are low on your $$$. If you're homeless u can sleep here on the couch when it's cold weather. People come by to time to time and drop off food for everyone there. John the G. M.is a wonderful person. The staff is good with helping u out.

The good samaritan inn is a great place especially if ur homeless. I stayed there back in 2010-2011. Mr. John was very nice and had a big heart. I do miss this place cause everyone treats u like family. Especially when we dont have relatives.
