Pulled up at the drop off and talked to two guys, one old and one young. I'll make this short. They were shockingly rude and crude. NO THANK YOU Goodwill. Have a nice life.

Store address 4716 Chiquita Blvd S. Came in earlier this week to see the trashiest thing in your store. A unprofessional manager under the name “Jill” threatening bodily harm & demeaning paying customers. I witnessed her corner & follow a poor individual through the whole store for no absolutely reason. Yelling profanities at a customer that had just walked into the store. When the harassed individual involved the actual store manager he did nothing to rectify the situation just put further doubt on an already failing Corporation. It’s unfortunate management dropped the ball and hired someone like Jill to speak on their behalf. We’ve posted forms on Local Facebook warning paying patrons of this individual JILL.

I've read some bad reviews in here. I have to admit I do not have many places to compare prices to. Staff was nice enough to me and I found quite a few nice things to buy. Things were neat and organized.

Management does absolutely nothing about employees disgusting behavior, yes I’m calling u out joe or whatever ur name is you know who you are. You and your manager need to be fried. Harassing and threatening customers for telling you to not talk down on people spending their money in your establishment is not a cute look. Anyone going here I hope you see this before you do I believe some people would be in danger seeing as they’re comfortable making threats, AND facing no repercussions due to extremely poor management.

Seriously, the previous reviews (all within the same day, I might add) are fictitious, and equate to someone who is butt-hurt because she got caught on social media, bragging about stealing from THIS store. I have visited this location, to both donate and buy, and I hate to admit I know most of the employees by name and this has not my experience, EVER, at this location, let alone with Jill, who is welcoming and helpful whenever I come in. Please ignore the rant of someone that clearly made up multiple accounts to slander someone, (well a few places). That's a lot of time negatively spent. I find wonderful deals here and everyone is warm to me.but then again, I'm not a thief ;)

I heard Jill at this location likes to bully and is disrespectful to customers. Why have some like that when they have to work with customers. And for the manager to just ignore such horrible behavior is ridiculous. Maybe they should get new people working here.

Manager is rude and provided poor customer service. He gives GOODWILL a BAD name. My friend and I traveled to Cape Coral from out of state to decorate her mother's memory care room to be make it feel more like home.
We purchased a large number of items from this store including curtains, framed cross-stitch, plastic ware, seasonal items, a lamp, lamp shade and a framed mirror.
When unpacking the items at the assisted living the next day, we realized we were missing the lamp, shade, and mirror. I called the store and was told that the policy was to place any purchased items left by a customer in the manager's office. But there were not any items in the office. We returned to the Goodwill and quickly found our "purchased items" back on the shelves. When we explained the situation to the manager, he replied "that he is in the retail business". We asked him to match the barcodes -still on the items - with his receipts from day before. The manager said he could only look up receipts from the current business days. Hmm really?
The manager was rude, unprofessional and singularly the nastiest person in Cape Coral. Goodwill corporate, listen to your patrons and get rid of this manager.

WeAreMoving and I tried to donate some small pieces of furniture and they said they won't take furniture or rugs.

Employees are friendly and helpful when taking donations in the back drop off area. They always come out and help and offer a receipt.

I went in here today and noticed the prices were ridiculously high for second hand items. Some of the items you could purchase new at a similar price at a retail store. I will no longer be donating to goodwill as I feel like they are taking advantage of people who need to buy second hand.

I love Goodwill but I had such a bad experience at this one. Me and my husband were donating a beautiful microwave, countertop oven, and bag of expensive clothes. The gentleman taking our donations must have had a really rough day because he was not in a good mood. He asked us if the microwave even worked. Then refused some perfectly good placements and grates. You can tell he is sick of people donating things that they can't sell which I understand but we were donating expensive stuff that there was absolutely nothing wrong with.

I periodically try to donate high quality items to Goodwill, thinking I am doing a good deed by donating. Each time I walk away saying never again - I will find an organization that actually appreciates donations as compared to Goodwill, who treat you like they are doing you a favor taking the item. Today it was a solid metal, glass top table and four chairs, in very good condition that they didn't think they could take? Final straw for Goodwill for me.

This Chiquita Goodwill store is HORRIBLE. Don't bother enter this store, PRICES HERE ARE OUTRAGEOUS. I almost stopped entering this store.last 5 visits I was shocked when seeing the prices. Went out empty handed every time thinking to myself that they completely went out of their mind!
Visiting Goodwill stores is a king of hobby to me and I know this store more than 5 years. It was a great store once -was my favorite, but last year they became so bad that I'm not buying here anymore.
Last couple of times I went to Donate stuff, the donation part was closed (at the normal working hours) so I also stopped bringing my donations here.
I cannot understand how an non profit organization that declares it want to help the weak individuals in the community, ask them to pay this gruesomely overpriced amounts for used items. Its a shame.
This store become the worse I know. There are much better Goodwill stores in Cape Coral. This it the WORSE!

We have donated many times to this store over the past 15 years. This time the gentleman was not pleasant and said right away that most of what he could see in our car he wouldn't take. As another review explained, they are severely limiting what they'll take as donations. I did not particularly appreciate being referred to as "you northerners just moving in", since we have lived here for over 15 years. This is just to forewarn anyone wanting to donate to this particular store that they may not be as accepting as they used to be.

The donation receivers are almost always super friendly, but they reject often more than they will accept. If they have to many of whatever you are bringing in already, or they don't have staff to deal with it. The truck ahead of me left about half full. I left with a one item. The truck behind me left with everything still in his vehicle.

Maybe these smaller locations could direct us to another location (confirmed) that will take our items. It's NOT that the items are sorry or broken. The explainers was lack of room or too many in stock at this store.

Ideally, of they had a box car or similar (van/truck) where items could be accepted and then shipped to another location.

This store does carry both donations and New items (so expect to pay higher than second hand prices).

Poorly marked entrances. I entered the exit and one of the workers ran at my vehicle screaming like a lunatic as i was turning my vehicle around. Rude! I brought my donations to the salvation army instead. At least they are actually a non profit and their ceo doesn't make $500,000 a year.

There is extremely stubborn and rude management at this place. I came in asking for a discount on a hoverboard that they had there to gift it to my nephew and it's priced at $100 it's damaged and scratched i was willing to pay $50 for it since its clearly been beaten up and used cause i know that my nephew will only use it for a couple of days and then never look at it again that's why I didn't bother buying a brand new one at a store i understand that you didn't want to give me a discount on it and its fine but come on people you're a non-profit organization acting like Target and i was told as well that they have pricers there that have been pricing items for years and they know what to price stuff at.that is a complete lie and absurd. My wife had purchased a a shirt here at this exact store for 3.99 and it's original retail value was $40 and just the fact that management was completely rude is what made me upset but don't lie to customers just because you don't want to deal with them i had also purchased a bike from here that was priced at $70 but only paid 30 bucks for it since it was damaged and used. I will never donate or shop here ever again worst customer experience in my life.
