Goodwill Store - St. Johns Bluff reviews
20 Greeted with a "good morning, welcome to goodwill " my first impression was: how nice:
Then. As i shop the ladies are cleaning and straightening, talking with shoppers. Asking if they are finding what they needed with all smiles. These gals were very helpful to many shoppers this day, my first time in this store. The rest rooms are clean, as is the entire store which has to be hard to keep up with so many people in and out, rummaging thru and kicking up dirt looking for a hidden treasure. The signs for the pricing are big, bold and clear. My old eyes appreciate that!
Ms Brenda, Jasmine, Maiyah & Ellie are the names I can still remember today, these girls work well together and give the store a very welcoming feel. Great job to them! Ialso want to mention an older man, working so hard to empty those goodwill bins of product out onto the floor, while he is working so hard he still takes the time to answer questions and even help a little child not wander away from his distracted mother. Good job Sir! I appreciste u as well. And
I see you
Some days it's hard to find GOOD in the world but I definetly found good in the people working at the goodwill.
God will bless yas for every effort!
Only so-so as goodwill stores go. Not a great selection and lots of stuff waw dirty. Vacuum cleaners still hqd debris in then. Yuck.
Wayyyyyy overpriced! The stuff is freely given and for a a hand held vacuum cleaner that is not even up to date and obviously not in good condition was 35$ wow
Are you joking, this store is awesome. They always treat us with respect and a smile. The only thing I find wrong is with Goodwill's policy about charging taxes on their goods, taxes were paid on the items when they were bought originally. That has nothing to do with the employees.they are great.
This is my current favorite Goodwill. They usually have a great variety of products for sale and for reasonable prices. I almost always find something to buy at this Goodwill!
They were very friendly and the prices were good the only thing I would like to see them change is the return policy.
One of the best goodwill's in town. They have a decent selection on items and usually fairly easy to find something.
This store could be really great if they had more people to organize it. There's a huge pile of drop off material sitting outside. But I have landed some great scores at this place like the $50 camping dutch oven I got for $10! Just have to go back and look every week or so.
Large selection but unlike other cities this location does not sort by sizes so you have to search through it all.sucks.
I go here every time I need to buy work clothes and every Wednesday is half off Wednesday's everything in the store half off I would recommend this place to everyone
The cashier was more interested with chatting up with customers then ringing up the items and getting other customers through the line. There was about 3 customers in line and we had to wait for him to stop his conversation with another customer. It took 15 mins when we didn't have that many items.
The selection of items was decent so that is why the rating isn't as bad. I was able to find everything I needed.
Prices tend to swing from nuts to reasonable. Get the impression someone uses eBay as a pricing guide. What they forget is that they are accessable to a local community not the entire internet.
You get your money's worth at this Goodwill. Paid $7.99 for a pair of Vera Wang boots. I was in the market for a new job and went in looking for an interview outfit. Found designer slacks and shirts for a fraction of what they charge at major retail, clothing stores.
Place to file applications for aid [ex: food stamps, financial assistance, DFCS]. Veteran's Services, job resources, and computer services (ie: surfing the web for available employers). Friendly and helpful staff guide you to solutions.
Very nice and clean. Top shelf quality thrift store and you get the feeling as you walk inside.
The people who work here are so nice and helpful. There is a great variety of items that are extremely reasonably priced. Shopping there is like going on a treasure hunt. Dig around long enough and you are going to find some pretty awesome things.
Stay away! There are so many good bargains you'll find you keep going back! Great new items also! I am addicted and love it. I also donate to Goodwill. The compliments I have had because people thought I spent hundreds of dollars on a purse or pair of shoes when I spent less than twenty on a whole outfit. Great bedspreads, throw pillows, shoes, shoes, shoes. Good bye Ross!
Jeans weren't that organized other than that everything else was great! Very nice sales employees.
Lots of stuff to choose from. It was clean and friendly service. 4 star cause lack of pricing on racks.
This is my go-to thrift store. They typically have a good selection of LP records, which is my favorite thing to browse.
