My son Ben has been training at Gracie Bradenton for almost 4 years and it has been an amazing experience for him. Great instructors lead high energy, but disciplined and safe classes and Kyle Koziel has been a great coach for my son's freshman high school wrestling season.

This is an awesome place to train! I knew nothing about jui jitsu before starting here and it can be intimidating to try something so out of your comfort zone. Everyone was so welcoming and so many people have helped me learn. In the past year and a half I have learned so much about self defense and have gotten in much better shape both physically and mentally. I think all women should learn basic jui jitsu and self defense and this is a great place to train!

I trained and instructed at Gracie Bradenton for over four years. It is the best school in Bradenton by far with very high level grapplers and instruction. If you are looking to empower yourself through learning self defense and improving your fitness this is the place to be

Sonny Parlin only knows one thing and it’s Jiu-Jitsu. In a short time I came to realize this is something that everyone should at least have a basic understanding of and a good instructor is an important part of that. They supplement takedowns using wresting as well, good combo. Size does not matter in Jiu-Jitsu which is a very different story in most forms of combat or self defense, great experience for both men and women. Strong lineage if you’re into that type of stuff. Great for law enforcement as well for pinning people down. Great if you already have a background in other forms of combat too.

These people are extremely welcoming and super patient with low level grapplers. You can tell these people care about your progress and it’s a great place for someone who is looking for a extra curricular or a lifestyle change. I can not praise this gym enough.

The classes were really good amd everybody was friendly, however I did not appreciate being billed $150 a month while they are shut down during this Covid-19 and I am out of work.

Ever in need of teaching your kids, teens or yourself family, I definitely recommend it, I been here for close to a year, Werther, Sonny, and Mary are some really amazing coaches and are just great people to connect with

It's apparent that this is a serious Jiu-Jitsu gym and with genuinely kind training partners. Sonny made me feel right at home! Very nice training facility as well. Highly recommended based on my experience.

Took my son tonight. He's hooked. He loved it and is already talking about how many days he can go next week.

I visited this school for 2 weeks while on vacation, and i noticed that sonny, and the other instructors would make sure that each student could perform the techniques demonstrated correctly, before moving on to the next lesson. A type of consideration i have not witnessed before at other schools.

Awesome gym, love the instructors, and large spacious facility. Highly recommend whether your looking for a gym to try or just visiting the area. The staff and members were inviting and courteous from day 1.

I highly recommend this place. The professor is EXCELLENT and ENCOURAGING. Also, my teammates are very helpful and supportive of one another. This place helped better my Jiu-Jitsu game.
