Grand Living at Wellen Park, Venice FL

Recently moved our family members into the Wellen Park facility. The process, from beginning to end, was amazing. The staff is extremely accommodating, the facilities are wonderful and we have dined In the restaurants and the food is excellent. We cannot find enough good things to say about our experience, thus far, with Grand Living- Wellen Park.

Grand Living communities are among the best in our industry, and I'm so glad they opened a community here where it's needed and found a fantastic management team that will take great care of our areas seniors!

What a gem. Grand Living is over the top both in looks and the way they treat people. My out-of-state family was very impressed with it and said when they are ready to move, the bar has been set very high.

Since our first visit with Nick at Grand Living in Lakewood Ranch, we knew living in an apartment in Grand Living was the right place for us. Now that the new Grand Living in Wellen Park is soon to open, we are excited to see our future apartment there and meet new people and make new friends. What is most exciting is all that is in front of us at Grand Living. We want to thank all of the professional staff that has helped us along the journey into our future at Grand Living in Wellen Park.

The Grand Living concept of senior living offers a lifestyle that is far beyond blissful compared to other senior living communities. From the moment you enter the resort style community, you know it’s special because there are happy people walking about, dining, doing activities, being social. It feels more like a Ritz Carlton vacation resort than a senior living community. The staff greats everyone with a genuine smile and gives sincere personal attention to the residents. The three restaurants within Grand Living are beautifully themed and the high-end resort style food is homemade and not off a food service truck. The activity calendar is full and offers something for everyone from watching movies in the grand ballroom theatre to sitting around the fireplace and telling stories about favorite Christmas memories. Grand Living is a special place to work. You can tell by the joyful attitudes of the workers. It’s a special place to live. I wish all elderly people could enjoy their later years in such an amazing palace. The attention to detail in every room is incredible from the hand painted murals on the walls and ceilings to the exquisite chandeliers that remind all visitors that this is a place where every detail of care is important. The icing on the cake is Grand Living’s reasonable monthly cost structure. I visited numerous senior communities that didn’t come close to the quality of living and standard of care that were more expensive than Grand Living. Everything is housed within one grand building … the resident’s suites, restaurants, the library, chapel, hair and nail salon, spa, workout rooms, physical therapy, physician’s office, library, special sitting areas, social gathering spaces, etc. If a resident starts out under “Independent Living” and then later needs “Assisted Living” services, that person does not have to move into a different home. Instead, the caretakers come to the resident’s suite to provide the needed assistance. People should tour Grand Living Wellen Park or Grand Living Lakewood Ranch to fully understand just how grand life could be.

Definitely a “wow” experience upon entering the facility. And it only got better after touring the restaurants and fitness areas! Superior construction and decorations.

Beautiful design, elegance, functionality and residents' and employee safety are embodied in this gorgeous new community! A personal visit is a must to appreciate all it has to offer!

My father is so excited about moving into his place at Grand Living Wellen Park. The staff has been so accommodating to him and our family. He loves all the amenities.

As reservationists, we have benefitted from excellent events that have been presented monthly. They have been first class and show cased the kind of things we can expect from the corporation! We met others who will be our “neighbors” in a friendly, fun atmosphere. Had our first look at the facility this week and EVERYTHING was even better than we hoped for - beautiful, high end, luxurious living indeed. While we will definitely have to adapt to living in a small apartment rather than our spacious home, there are so many more positives to look forward to.
Melissa and Ashley have been so gracious and welcomed all our many questions, emails, and phone calls over the past months, always getting back to us quickly.

We experienced a very pleasant and informative meeting with the sales staff who explained the "Grand Living Experience". Ashley, Melissa, and Violet were extremely helpful in providing us with, no pressure, informative, information on living at Grand Living and the ability to enjoy "First Class Happiness". Their assistance led us to lease an apartment. We are truly looking forward to starting a new life at Grand Living.

This living is like a 5 star hotel. The appointments are lavish. Room sizes and open floor plan is terrific. The chefs that were hired down to the pool and hot tub are A1. The very important distinction from others is the med management protocols. They have nurses delivering meds should you need med management and medicine is kept in a locked cabinet in your room.

Grand Living isn't just a company, its a culture & lifestyle. Grand Livings standards exceed all expectations & the Wellen Park area is truly blessed to have a Grand Living community opening in the area.
