BUYER BEWARE! Grand Slam Boats, dba Grand Slam Marine, is the absolute worse company I’ve EVER done business with. Steve Loleski, the owner, is the most combative and dishonest person I’ve worked with in over 30yrs of professional experience. Steve will not listen to you, he won’t allow you to be involved with your project, and he’ll blame you for his mistakes. A quick google search of Steve Loleski’s name will give you a glimpse into the type of person you’ll be working with. After several months of researching, I chose Grand Slam Marine to do a full Garmin suite installation, as well as add stereo equipment to my existing system, both of which they advertise being “certified” and “experts” in. Steve designed and installed both systems incorrectly, and to make matters worse, the carelessness with which they worked on my boat shows in every area they touched, and even in areas they didn’t need to touch. I’ve spent more time repairing their work in the last few months than all the repairs I’ve made in 6yrs of owning my boat combined. What was supposed to be a 2-3wk process has turned into 7 months, and as of today, I still don’t have a navigation system that’s safe to use or a stereo system that functions properly. They’ve spent several days on my boat since returning it to me trying to fix their mistakes and the damage they caused. There is an excuse for everything, including but not limited to, blaming the customer (me) for the wrong parts they ordered. Their actions, and inactions, have forced us to take legal action to remedy this matter. If you don’t want to experience the nightmare that my family continues to endure, take your boat somewhere else…. Anywhere else for that matter.
