Great Expressions Dental Centers - Palm Harbor reviews
13Beware, please read all reviews which I failed to do first. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt- wrong decision! This a dental office that has several locations. All locations operate with 3 or 4 offices that does not communicate with each other. (1) local office that do the procedure, (2) main office-patient services (different location) that handles coding & insurance- and takes hours on the phone to get a person (3) Billing service office / secondary billing office (different location-rude people, they think they have the power to intimidate). Billing process is horrible. Normally, they give you a "payment assessment' before your service and you have to pay your portion before you get the service. Apparently, the local office has a sheet of paper that has the insurance tables of fees. They do NOT call the insurance. So if you think you are getting it cheaper.wait for it! After a month or 2, you will receive another bill/statement saying you owe more because your insurance will not cover their "charges" even if the insurance already paid their dues & you already paid yours before you got the services. Normally, insurance are spot on when they give you your payment estimate because normal office call the insurances to confirm. In my case I had a crown done.and its been months of back & forth calls and aggravation. All three offices do not share information with one another, One office will say you owe this, and the local office will say a different amount. Carry was helpful enough at the Palm Harbor- local office, but she is limited on what she can do.because the control is at the main office. If you contact one office, make sure you contact the other offices to update them on the status of the one you initially called. What a nightmare.
Up front pricing and staff coordinates well with your insurance carrier. The procedure was explained well and went quickly.
Very friendly, professional and informative personnel. Convenient appointments a plus. Dr Dixit is excellent first time in many decades of a crown being perfect the first time. Carrie in front office is extremely helpful and personality plus!
I am happy with the quality of their service. Everyone there is very nice! I would like to thank Carrie, Dr Dixit, and Diego for getting me in quickly and helping me with my problem. I have been with these guys for a while and they have always good to me! I would also like to thank Ernesto as well!
Great Expressions office in Palm Harbor, particularly Carrie, went above me on our expectations for help.
STAY AWAY! Especially if you're a hygienist or dental assistant. They will not honor your hours and will send you home 15 minutes into your shift regardless of how far you drove to get here. The average employee endures about 3-6 months before they are driven out by the abhorrent corporate culture that exist within. If you're a hygienist their regional hygienist Elvis will come into your office every 3 or so weeks and look through everything like a vulture and never has anything positive to say. The vibe management emits just makes you want to vomit because they are extremely unauthentic and lifeless. You can easily tell just by how miserable and unhealthy their appearance is. Carrie the manager here is just basic and manages this place on pure emotion rather than logic. Even if you were to be still and silent like a monk, she would be offended by you, and will try and get you discharged regardless of your work performance if she doesn't like you. The previous dentist left because this company would not even give him the proper materials he needed. As a professional they will treat you like garbage, so do yourself a favor and just keep walking. Life has more to offer than locking yourself inside corporate walls that take the beauty out of existence itself. Karma will lead to the closure of this site but I am sure it will resurface in another shopping plaza in order to relive its fate again.
Let's start by saying I was terrified of finding a dentist when I moved here. This location was my 3rd call of the day and the receptionist is what got me to choose them. 5 stars for her. So welcoming. Now to the dentists themselves. If I could give 100 gold stars I would. MOST AMAZING DENTAL EXPERIENCE TO DATE and I'm 47. The entire staff is so friendly and informative and made every process smooth and stress free. The deep cleaning was a first for me and I was so nervous, but it was so relaxing and pain free. I highly, HIGHLY, RECOMMEND this dentist office to anyone looking. THANK YOU ALL. AMAZING SERVICE YOU DONT FIND THESE DAYS.
BEWARE! A MONEY MACHINE! Read the other reviews. Went in for a cleaning & wanted to charge $29.00 for an oral cancer screening. This is something a normal dentist would not charge for - it's part of an oral exam. I declined, as I trust my physician at Moffitt Cancer Center more than GE Dental. Have Liberty Dental Insurance that covers 100% for X-Rays, but GE Dental wanted to charge me $233.00 for a cleaning! Told them a cleaning was covered at 100% but wanted to up-charge for office supplies, extra treatments etc for the CLEANING saying these things were not covered by my insurance. Got up from the chair with no treatment and left the office. Also notified my insurance company about my experience. Beware.
Dr. Sanchez is excellent. Honest and direct conversation about care. Staff was very friendly & efficient.
Super helpful! Super accommodating as well, helped me find anything I needed within the company as in which offices would be best to go to for certain things.
Very efficient office. Asha was Dr. Sanchez assistant and they both explained in great detail my treatment of the day and future dental needs needing to be taken care of. I appreciate how personable everyone is and affordable my visit was. They didn’t even charge me for x rays to check on 2 teeth of concern.
I havent been to the dentist in a few years they were very kind and gentle in my mouth they created a fun environment even had a few laughs after my surgery i would highly recommend dr.sandchez and his team
Had a very pleasant day today at Great Expressions Dental. No waiting time. Carrie, the receptionist, was very accommodating and a warm person. The Heigenist, whose name is Ram was very thorough and is a well experienced Dentist, as far as I could tell. I have seen other Dentists here before but he was as great as my Dentist back home in the Philippines, whom I missed terribly. Very thorough and gentle and pointed out which part of my teeth needs more care and cleaning attention. I wish him good luck on his future endeavor.
Overall experience rating.in a scale of 10,10 being the highest, I'll give a 10 for my visit today.
