Great Oak Pet Resort, Marianna FL

My Pup Roxanne had an amazing time here on our family vacation and did not want to come back home. She will be very happy to get to go back in a few weeks. They treat your pets so great and she never has gotten any illness from staying here. Reasonable prices for the amazing quality of service and care for your babies.

Absolutely an amazing place. I think our 2 labs love being there more than they do being at home.

This place was an amazing find. We were visiting Marianne for the day and needed to have some place for our recently adopted family member. The facility is amazing, the staff took the time to get to know our dog and to make her comfortable. She had a great time, time to play and a 2 hour block of nap time. She didn't want to leave. Will definitely use again we are up in that area. One of the best dog day facilities we have ever used.

We had our dogs stay here when we were out of town for the week and was very impressed. The whole resort was clean and loved the spacious kennels. The people there are very nice, professional and pet friendly. I recommend this place to anyone even if you need a pet sitter.

I am so angry! It is a crying shame that your pets would get so traumatized at this place! So almost three months ago we left our babies out there while on vacation. It stormed extremely bad while we were away. Our babies were in an outdoor kennel in this storm with thunder and lightning. Now we have to deal with the trauma every time it rains or they hear thunder. They start shaking extremely bad and jump in your lap looking for some protection. Every time in happens I get angry all over again! This was very careless and shameful to do this to someone’s pets. They also were not fed properly according to our written instructions, and they made excuses as to why they had food left over when we picked them up. I do not and will not recommend them!

I was nervous because we were leaving our pup, Lucky, for the first time and had not idea how she would handle it. She was a stray with obvious signs of neglect and abuse issues. The team at Great Oak Pet Resort was patient and loving with her gaining her trust. She did fantastic and I am very grateful to the Great Oak Team for keeping us informed of how she was doing as well as the facebook updates. Will definitely use them every time!

Lisa and the staff saved the day when they were able to care for our 2 fur babies while we had an unexpected change of plans during our visit to Marianna. They were extremely kind and helpful, and I cannot recommend this place enough! Lisa, thank you for everything

Great folks that love critters. My baby is treated like a queen.
Someone is in the yard with the critters playing with them and watching out for them.

The reviews are right about this place! It's a little gem in Florida. Dropped the doggies off for daycare and they were very accommodating. You can tell the whole staff loves animals, and everyone we interacted with was so nice! They even let me walk my doggies to the back, so I felt reassured they were in great hands for the day! If you want to explore the caverns, swim, or do something else and your furry friends can't come along don't hesitate to drop them here for the day. All the doggies were happy and tired upon pick-up!

Nice place took good care of Cali for the day. We were just traveling through wished they were local. I would definitely recommend them.

They are professional, friendly & wonderful with all the pets. The groomers know their business. My dog always looks great!

We boarded our dog here while we went out of town last weekend. They did a wonderful job caring for our fur baby. This was our first time here but we will definitely be back for all of our future grooming & boarding needs. Our pets will never be boarded anywhere else. Our do is high energy and they kept him entertained and had lots of outside play time. I enjoyed seeing the pics & videos of their Facebook page. I wish they would add an option to have pics & videos sent to you periodically though.

Best fees around area for grooming, but the new groomer is not great. I'll give her a second chance to see any improvement.

First time for Sassy but we loved it. Took a bit longer than we expected but they were very busy. She was calm and happy when we picked her up. Thanks ladies for taking great care of our baby. Annette & Brian

Everyone there was super nice, and loving to the dogs. The place is nice, with outside runs for different sized dogs. They even gave my brothers dog a pedicure during the stay.

I was worried about having to go out of town and board Doc somewhere he had never been before, but he loved it. I enjoyed being able to see his pictures and how much fun he was having on Facebook.really put my mind at ease. He has been better behaved since being there as well. They are awesome!
