Green Turtle Shell & Gift Shop, Bradenton Beach FL

Have been fortunate to be able to make it both times I’ve been down by the Clearwater/Bradenton area. I may have gone overboard and had to spend an extra $120 bucks to ship everything back home that wouldn’t fit in my luggage. That should tell you that this store is a must go! The best, and very impressionable.

Bought sun glasses, uv shirts and some kiddie toys. 100% would go back and wander the isles. Staff were super friendly and it is the oldest family run store on the island.

I love this place and I have to come every time I visit this beautiful island. The staff is absolutely wonderful! Everything is clean, reasonably priced and unique. I had to return a shirt and they had no issues.

There was a very very nice selection of gifts and I did purchase quite a few things for my family and friends. I would, however, have been happier with more attentive service from management. I had left my name and number about a question I had and didn't receive a call. The matter was very important to me.

This is a one stop gift shop for anyone who is looking for gifts! I stopped in looking for postcards and they had so many options. They are also very cheap! On my way to get the postcards, I found a cute sticker I had to get. They also have a lot of beach essentials, like sunscreen or pool noodles, if anyone needs it! They are also open a little later, so is a plus.

They have a great selection of hats, sun hats, souvenirs and friendly staff. I really enjoy this cute little shop

Ladies working were wonderful. They had a nice selection of shorts for larger size people. I really appreciated that. Lots of tourist collectible things.

I visited this gift shop multiple times.they workers just stared at me.completely rude to me when i asked questions.i put a shirt up to buy and the one said “you sure that’s going to fit you” which very rude and very unprofessional.

I shopped here while on vacation. Very cute store with lots of quality artsy items. Customer service is amazing. Paige was a doll helping me pull windchimes. Will definetely be back:)

Really cute shop with all kinds of items. Good selection of t-shirts and knick knacks. Tons of Anna Maria Island merchandise. The ladies working were very nice and friendly.

So this is my second time visiting the island and 4-5th time visiting the the gift shop. I came in looking for a nose ring because I lost mine and didnt want the hole to close. I know some gift shops sell body jewelry so when I walked in I simply asked the lady "do you have nose rings" she replied with no and I continued on to shop for shirts and souvenirs. As I walked away, in front of other customers and workers she said this is a beach shop not a tattoo shop very rudely. I thought it was very ignorant and I turned right back around and left. I am VERY disappointed with how she talked to me as I am a customer there to give you guys MY money!

The green turtle employees were by far the nicest on the island. Shop Here! PS, we love our metal Gecko!

2 of the nicest sweetest ladies were working and so kind to my family. Prices were good and had tons of selection.

Yeah, it's a touristy little gift shop. But, they are always so nice and we always pop in when we are on the beach.

When you want to find cute trinket gifts to bring back to friends and family, check this place out. Unique items, souvenirs, jewelry, even toys and beach stuff.

Little shop with plenty to choose from. Cashiers have great customer service and friendly attitud. Had to leave because i couldn't stop purchasing cute gifts but i had to (went twice)

This place is one of the nicest gift shops on the island, and the prices are affordable too!

Good customer service, good people. Huge selection of cups of all kinds especially coffee cups, hoodies and t-shirts. Very offordable probably the best on the island. I highly recommend getting your hoodies there.

Just another tourist shop. If you stay long enough you get to hear the cashier talk about how "the election was stolen" and how it's "not our President" in office. They do have alligator claws though so that's neat

My husband and I were on vacation this past week and stopped into the green turtle shell and gift shop after lunch at wicked cantina. As we walked into a shop, the cashier was sitting in one of the beach chairs by the door eating her lunch. We we're wearing our masks, said hello and started browsing. Another customer entered shortly behind us and asked if you needed to have a mask on to shop there. The cashier politely answered and said "Oh no, it's not required" and the customer replied "Oh good, thank goodness because I didn't want to go put that thing on".
That is completely valid and normal banter. I completely understand but the cashier took it a step further and loudly stated, "Actually, we'd prefer it if our customers wouldn't wear them inside at all. " Then she glanced over at us.
For the life of me, I do not understand why our masks were so triggering. I do realize a lot of folks in that area don't wear masks and that's their business. I've never had that situation happen to me before. We took the hint and left.
