Recently received a massage from Gretchen Walsh. She was great, so great that I was fighting falling asleep a few times because I was so relaxed. She made my experience comfortable and enjoyable. I recommend her 90min massages to anyone who wants a long comfortable session.

First time trying a cupping massage! I absolutely loved it! Honestly the most relaxing experience ever, Gretchen was able to work out my tense shoulders and achy legs. She really takes the time to understand what you need and makes you feel very relaxed and comfortable. Highly recommend to add cupping to your massage, it felt wonderful!

Opalite Spa has 3 amazing massage therapists, each with their own niche. I had (most recently) a deep tissue massage with Gretchen, which included a little reflexology on my feet. She made me feel so good! Stomach, back, ribs, shoulder, and of course, my feet!
I am grateful she could work me in after my chiropractic adjustment! I've seen 16 massage therapists in Bradenton over the years, and the 3 best are at Opalite Spa!

As I travel a substantial amount for work and pleasure, I get to use registered massage therapists (RMTs) in many locations. Gretchen is, by far, the best RMT I’ve been lucky to meet. I responded to an ad a few years ago when I was getting serious about my health and weight. Being a bit older and then suddenly taking my out of shape body to the gym so regularly, meant small injuries and soreness. I can say without a doubt, there is no way I could have continued the journey as successfully as I did, without getting my body repaired regularly by this dedicated professional. She constantly checks on your comfort, was great about focusing on sore/injured areas, and has a great way to make you feel comfortable in her calm and peaceful room. There are thoughtful and effective extras in her therapy (various uses of hot and cold) which are not a part of most places. You also don’t leave a greasy mess as she uses a better product. Quickly, one realizes, you are coming for more than a massage; you are coming for healing.

I’m a science guy, I’m not much into what can’t be proved (from a medical perspective), and yet, the positive energy and restoration I received, in addition to the physical healing was undeniable to me. This part is harder to explain as it’s not my world and ultimately has to be experienced for oneself. You can really tell when someone is putting their all into making you feel better. I only wish I currently lived near her practice as I miss those magic hands. If you’re looking for an RMT in Gretchen’s area, you can’t go wrong to try her services. Additionally, I appreciated the multi-packs you could buy in advance, making the services very affordable. With the multi-pack, I would get a superior service, at a great spot, for a fraction of the cost of the chains and spas.

Gretchen gives an outstanding therapeutic massage. She listens to your concerns and addresses problem areas accordingly. Deeply relaxing as well! As a massage therapist myself, we always like to visit local spas or massage offices while on vacation. Gretchen and Opalite Spa and Salon were definitely worth the visit!

Went to Gretchen on a recommendation and I’m so glad I checked her out! I’m pretty picky when it comes to my massage and Gretchen really heard me out and listened to what I wanted. I have a lot of issues with my right should blade due to my line of work and Gretchen recommended I try cupping. It’s now my favorite add on for massages. The effects of the cupping lasted for a long time. My shoulder didnt bother me again for over a month after the cupping session when normally after a regular massage it would both me again after just a week. Gretchen is definitely stuck with me as a long time customer! Highly recommend!
