Gringos Locos UCF reviews
19Customer service was like talking to a Maoi head outside of the tall chipper white guy. On top of that double D was poorly made for a simple taco just go to milk district location
Worst food I've ever had from this place.burrito was soggy and mushy.didn't get chips with the $16 chips and queso.and the queso was the consistency of sausage gravy. I really used to love this place.will not ever return or order from again.so disappointing
If you were literally over the age of 18, do not even attempt to go to this place it is absolutely nonsocial. There’s no communication with the staff. It is the worst place ever it’s a wannabe everything Mexican and it is so bad so with that being said, please do not ever ever ever go to this place, if you were over the age of 19 years old.
Luis “the manager” 3 infractions of primary business activities today:
poor customer service,
unprofessional sales approach,
poor representation of positive company culture at counter.
Owners.
Only 2 things weren't good. The rice was hard and wasn't throughly cooked. The chips weren't fresh
Very basic Tex-Mex style food, but the ingredients are good and fresh. Service is quick despite having to use an order screen, no cashiers and they mostly accommodate CC or Debit card. I recommend this place only for a quick bite, not a hang out spot.
One of my favorite things to eat after a horrible exam. Their burritos and double d’s are my favorite. Daniel is literally one of the nicest customer service people I have ever met! He’s the one in the polo. Definitely recommend if you’re visiting UCF.
SAM, SAM, SAM! I loved all the staff during my visit and they were all very helpful, especially sam, who was always cleaning, being kind to the customers, or doing anything else to better the restaurant, this man deserves a raise. 10/10 experience
Gringos is my favorite place to eat on campus. Food is great and has a certain white trash appeal very few other places on campus have, very good for the price.
Highly recommend Double D’s the jersey turnpike
Parking in the area sucks and they never seem to have Sangria.
Can you stop disrespecting my burrito and stop putting crunchy burnt rice in my 14$ burrito. PLEASE
Best Sanchez Burrito ever! Spend some quality time with my daughter here.it was nice to see other parents engaging with their kids as well.
Dealing with employees who lack menu knowledge can indeed be frustrating. Explaining the components of a drunken nacho multiple times and witnessing the improper handling of vegetarian tacos is disappointing. The inconsistency in portion sizes and the scarcity of sauce in their containers are also concerning. If you're looking for a better experience, I recommend trying their original milk district location. It's worth noting that the quality of chips has declined, impacting the enjoyment of sides and main nacho dishes.
Amazzzzzing Fish Tacos. The tilapia was so tender it melted in my mouth, grilled to perfection. The flavor profile was busting with each bite. The salsa Verde had just the right about of kick. And the flour tortilla held up even with how juicy everything was. 10/10 Chipotle who?
I've been going to Gringos for many years at the Milk District and Downtown location, and I can say for a fact that the food and service at the UCF location is well below par. Much improvement is needed.
Smh I thought I ordered 6 tacos but instead I got just 2. $5 per taco is insane. They need to change the complicated system of self orders on the kiosk.
Wow. So we are from Maryland and came here for a concert. Kat was amazing and informed us of all we needed to know. She was so friendly. The food was AMAZING. Very reasonable especially during happy hour. It was fresh tasting. So happy we picked this place to eat at.
The place is spectacular highly recommended, I want to highlight the administrator is an excellent person, he took great care of us, we are on vacation and we feel very good, the food is delicious, we will return, thank you very much
Service is always rough. The quality food and portions are not consistent. After covid they haven’t really gotten things back together. One of the kitchen staff yelled at me because I came in the restaurant early but doors were unlocked. I love gringos on Robinson but this location has dropped the ball to many times. I’d rather drive 20mins to the gringos on Robinson than the Ucf location. Also the touch screen ordering needs to removed takes always from the gringos staff experience.
