Gas Company GRU reviews
28If you enjoy poor customer service and paying expensive fees, GRU is the utilities monopoly for you.
Tried to call in to speak to a representative and their automated machine couldn’t even bother to put me on hold, because they were “too busy. ” God awful company If I could I would get solar panels and not deal with them at all.
Unable to reach certain departments. No one has called back and I have been without hot water. Lack of sympathy or understanding.
GRU is one of the most expensive utility companies in the state, and GRU still can't afford to have enough people working to answer the phones. 20+ min hold times are typical. Wish there was another option for utilities.
Our entire electric bill for June was 169. We went on vacation for two weeks in june and in July our bill for just electric is 469.00 something is incorrect about this bill. GRU cannot be accurately charging. We need honesty.

I can always count on GRU to increase its prices every year and misread my house's water meter at least three times a year.
Bill is double what any other electric company would charge, but feel as if since they have no competition in the area they can surge rates. GRU is terrible and I reccommend it to no one. Really wish I was able to bring my business elsewhere. Preying on a college dominated town in which students are already drowning in loans is evil.
They employ dog killers (a pug no less which I'm sure was so frightening) who lied about not knowing what happened to the dogs but confessed later. This company gave them no disciplinary action. Don't give them your business.
