I had to get new card. The girl that was there was super. She walked me through it from beginning to end.

Valrisha Hogan was very helpful and helping under my loan I had and how the refinancing will work if I got one through there company.

For two days and 6 people later I finally talked to someone that could help me with my card problems.
All the answers that I got was sorry we can't help you.

I had to jump thought so many hoops to get to the truth about my problem and for the right person to help me.
I my family has been with GTE for a very long time and I have never had such a hard time trying to get someone to help me fix my problem.

This place is special, no customer service, no knowledge of what the last person working with you has done, no common sense. Do yourself a favor and find a different credit union

Yeneis Hernandez, did an excellent job helping us through our fraud complaint. We had originally talked with someone but they did not follow through with the complaint so our money is still tied up. Ms Hernandez, followed through with setting up a new account for the money to be deposited in. Thank you!

To be honest. I have never had a better time at a bank! They ladies were so helpful and knowledgable. Very friendly. I just cant say enough. Givem a raise!

Members relationship officer, Destiny helped open up my new accounts at GTE. I had several questions during the process and she had answers for all of them! The used to be but after recent change (summer 2022) everything is broken. I have second loan (equity loan) with them. Had it for 6-7 years, never had issues, always paid in time and paid extra. The very first month after switch they miss on drafting money from my checking. I called and asked if information is correct on their end. They verified. I was still ok, since I paid extra all this time. Second month - no draft again. Turns out because I overpaid before, their system decided that I shouldn't get out of loan early and stopped charging me. This was first issue. Second issue they start bother me with Home Insurance proof. In 6-7 years they never asked, now it is couple of times a year. One time 2-3 month ahead of expiration of my current insurance. The last thing, what prompted me to write this review, is they paid for my Home Insurance, although they never did, because my first mortgage takes care of it. The worst problem I can't pay it back since this mortgage doesn't have escrow account. I called and ask to allow me to pay online, they told me to send them a check. After all this issues and screw ups I do not trust them with check, I want a paper trace of all the transactions. Worst Bank experience and I will getting out of it as soon as possible.

Ms. Terry and Destiny were awesome with helping us open our accounts. Would definitely refer GTE financial to anyone opening a personal or business account.

If you don’t already bank with GTE and you’re in search for a new financial institution then I recommend this one and this specific location.

Anytime I need help with anything they are extremely helpful and also knowledgeable. I have NEVER had an issue in the last 13 or so years I’ve been banking with them.
