Mexican Restaurant Guacamole reviews
15At one time this place was incredible. Tonight and last trip very disappointing food overcooked. Chicken Jerky flauta and chewy dried cubes of steak taco. I hope that they get it together again as they WHERE once fantastic.
Did this place change ownership recently? No chips and salsa. Ground beef tacos had no flavor, chicken fajitas were half the size as normal, and had to ask for cheese. It's like they increased the costs ($17 for fajitas now!) due to the current state of the economy but then reduced the food to compensate even more. Won't come here again.
The place is a great place to eat. The food is very fresh and hot. The worker's are very nice. And it very clean place to eat at.
I had the tacos. I chose three which included chicken, pork and steak. I asked for flour tortillas instead of corn. There was a lot of meat in these tacos and it was tasty. They are topped with cilantro and onion. I also ordered a side of guacamole and it was delicious. The only drawback for me for the four stars is that they charged me extra for flour tortillas instead of corn. I should have been told that before I ordered. Other than that, go for the guac. It's fresh and tasty!
Worst place I have ever been waitresses don’t know anything of the food they offer and the food is flavorless and sucks
Patty is a great server. The homemade chips are the best we've ever had. The burrito was amazing. This is our new favorite place for Mexican cuisine. I would give this place six stars if that was allowed!
It was nice.
Rice and beans weren't great but the enchiladas and green sauce were great. Also de jalapeno popper were so good. I will definitely come back soon.
Food was okay, definitely not the best!
Price was ridiculous, could've had better food else where for what I paid for.
Authentic Mexican, the tostada and taco’s were beef and unforgettable.
My wife’s burrito was chicken and I finished it off the next night. I can’t wait to have it at least 2 times over the weekend!
I was passing through town and wanted some good South Florida Mexican. It was OK. Not the best I ever had.
Really disgusting ground beef with gristle and tentacles!
I should have taken a picture. The waiter saw it!
He snatched it away quickly!
If you're looking for an Authentic Mexican restaurant, then here is the place! Locals know about it.a hidden gem. When you leave you feel like you just beamed back to Florida! A truly Mexican immersion.lol
Food was ok. Not to brag about it. Very pricey. They were stingy with the chips. Other Mexican restaurants give chips with the food. No reason to charge extra for the chips.
They go above and beyond to make sure their guests are happy and satisfied. Being from Laredo Texas, this is a home away from home. I adore them! And the food actually tastes Mexican unlike most places that I've found around here.
Guacamole to me is a hole in the wall, I absolutely love going, it is a cozy and welcoming restaurant with friendly and attentive staff. The ceviche, guacamole are my favorites, Ive tried the fajitas, El Patron (not tequila) too. As a local I mostly I go for the chips, Guac & ceviche to me they are TO DIE FOR! Oh, they also have sodas made in Mexico with real cane sugar and not the HFCS we keep seeing, good alternative for my two kids.
