Guava & Java reviews
17$4 for a fountain soda. Greedy business and I hold airport partially responsible because there are so few competitors to keep these thieves from charging so much.
Our second time there in 3 years and really love this place! Excellent Cuban Cubano/coffee and wonderful ham/cheese croissant. Young man serving us was very kind and gracious on an early Sunday morning-I believe his name is Alejandro. Awesome employee!
They are literally reselling old Costco products for 20x+ the price. Sell by date of September 10th, photo was taken September 15.
Best service ever! They accommodated my mom with her gluten allergy and even customized my coffee! Can't wait to come back!
Workers were working hard and effecient. Getting everything fast out for people but making it quality. I tried the turkey and cheese on a croissant and it was actually really good. My friend had a cheesecake brownie and said it was amazing. Tried a café con leche for the first time and it was strong! And pretty good. This is the best place in MIA.
Charged us but did not give our coffee and pastry until we had to ask for it. Keep in mind that, there was no line or people waiting and the three guys were just having a good time amongst themselves while we patiently waited. Horrible service and rude.
Awful experience, muffin was dry i almost choked on it, good thing kid knows cpr or i wouldn’t have made my flight home! Don’t get me started on the smoothie, took them 15 minutes before they even realized i ordered it! Talk about a rip off!
Really long line but the employees were very nice and they had delicious looking food and pastries. And the prices were super reasonable. The coffee was cheaper than starbucks and they had a lot of options. They had almond and soy milk as well. They also have a few of the Torani syrup flavors (caramel, chocolate, vanilla, sugar free vanilla). Very very impressed for airport food and coffee.
We were disappointed that MIA would have such an establishment. No care given. $4.50 for a yogurt? $4 for a brownie in a bad with no wrapper? You can do better.
With a very convenient location this cafe provides service to Spririt and Southwest travellers. The service is good. The staff makes an effort to serve fast. The line is not that long and totally worth it. The coffee is really good, however they may need to incorporate products for people on keto diet or at least any low carbs choice. I couldn't find anything that fits my lifestyle. The experience was good.
Do not get the drip coffee get the cuban one. Guava danish was extremely soft. Would get a 4 stars for price but it's in the airport
I don’t know how to put it in a nice way, but first of all their coffee tastes like water. I’ve never tasted a bad coffee like this one in my life and I’m a big coffee drinker!
Secondly, I really hope the business owner takes this recommendation to their heart, as they MUST CHANGE their coffee cups! It’s ridiculous that the kid doesn’t have a spot that you can drink from, but instead each time you want to take a sip you have to get the lid off! Seriously? Even plastic cups at Costco has a better, stronger cup where you can sip off from lid, without taking it off every time and getting coffee drops on clothes from the lid!
For the prices they charge for coffees, they can get the best coffee cups are available out there, but instead they cheap out! Wish took a picture of their cheap coffee cups and posted here. Even grocery stores have better coffee cups than them!
Person at the register was wearing his face mask as a chin warmer … mouth and nose were exposed (clearly violating airport rules. When I said something about wearing his mask properly, he said “I just have to wear it”. Ridiculous and flaunting the intent of the policy.
They do not take Card, on purpose. Cash only.
No sign says so. Will 'act' like they are trying and tell you their system is down.
Food & coffee is below average.
Really good smoked salmon bagel and friendly staff! Definitely an "airport food" surprise.
Thirty minute wait time for coffee. I think it’s mainly due to logistics as they handle each customer one at a time.
At Miami Airport…Bacon, egg & cheese croissant was very good, croissant was fresh, egg was good for a pre-cooked product & cheese was fresh & flavorful… the sandwich was very satisfying. The guava & cheese danish was also very fresh and very good. There was a long line that seemed to move steadly, customer service was good also. Was too hungry to take a photo!
