Guitar Center, Jacksonville FL

Used to be a good place to get advice and buy equipment. Now, not so. Waited around for what seamed like 30 minutes, looking to find a pick-up for my acoustic guitar. Couldn't find one and nobody asked if I needed help. Left the store frustrated. Sorry guys, next time I'll go the extra miles to the beach and to your competition to buy what I need.

Bought a guitar from them last December, took in today to sell back. Talked to manager and was told that the Martin we bought from that store was a knockoff. So be careful buying there. 800.00 dollar guitar plus case wanted to only give 150.00.

Purchased my first prs guitar about a week ago and the employees were very helpful in helping me find a guitar and answered all my questions, pretty much my go to spot for anything regarding guitars. Cant go wrong with this place.

Hey, I used to take drum lessons here and they made me rock at drums. They improved my beats. I highly recommend taking drum lessons here. Also they have posters and music decor at suitable prices also cheap drumsticks. Bye!

These guys are all very polite and knowledgeable. The manager runs a great shop. I have gotten several things - guitars, amps, cables, etc from them and have always been very pleased with the service and quality of products.

This place is the go to spot for musicians and artists. Great staff and friendly environment to just chill and play instruments. Very affordable also!

My 9 year old son and I stopped in to the Guitar Center off of Blanding, just north of 295 for a guitar suitable for a smallish boy. We found the staff very helpful, especially a guy named Travis who selected a 3/4 size guitar when a full-size one was obviously too big.
I'm not musical myself so I had no idea what to expect. It turns out they sell a lot more than just guitars so I can recommend Guitar Center highly for a wide range of musical needs. The store is huge inside too, it's more of a warehouse. Stop by- you'll be glad you did.

I placed an order online for a used guitar, and called right after to confirm it was not gone before I placed my order. The guy over the phone confirmed he saw my order and there was no other orders for it. I found out today my order was cancelled due to another customer placing the guitar on layaway days later. The manager on duty was rude and couldn’t care less about the situation. A customer representative confirmed that the guitar was still there this afternoon, so they could have easily corrected this situation. This whole experience has been absolutely unprofessional and problematic with this store.

The quality of their equipment is awesome and the workers there are very vivid in explaining what sound is needed for all musicians!

It's an ok music store, too bad they don't stock more stuff for drummers. They could maybe turn a profit instead of going bankrupt.

This place has everything you need for music very friendly staff and knowledgeable and manager went over and beyond to help us thanks again we will be back for sure. CPO sir Henry's Haunted Trials.

It was kinda frustrating because I came in to potentially buy a really expensive guitar, and I couldn’t tell who actually worked there, no one greeted me or asked if I needed any help. I’m not the type to go bother associates at registers who are assisting customers.
Luckily I did need a few supplies and the dudes at the register were very polite and engaging, but honestly no matter what you need to acknowledge every customer and make sure to inquire about what they are looking for. While I was there another customer stormed out very frustrated, I don’t think it was that serious, but there is obviously a problem with customer service at this location. That being said the workers that checked me out looked like they have the capability to engage with customers better. DO BETTER GUITAR CENTER

I've bought everything there from guitar strings to guitars helpful but laid-back, recommended!

One must love and appreciate local music stores, because it's really the only place we can sit around and try stuff that we've never handled, every time I go there I come away wanting something different.

Great store! The staff really helped me out! A huge shout out to Devon (both)! At the end of the day I was able to get deal that I wanted! Definitely shop there again!

This place is amazing! Zack helped us today finding the perfect guitar for my son and a keyboard for myself. He is very knowledgeable and sweet and had a lot of insights. It was a lot of fun and no pressure at all! Real nice store with a lot of choice and they leave you alone if you want to mess around a little bit in their music rooms. It was an amazing experience and we will be back! Thank you!

Guitar “tech” is a joke, and so is the store.waited over a week for a restring that was estimated TWO DAYS.it should not take 8 days to restring a guitar.very disappointed.when the employee got my guitar, he grabbed it, touching the strings all over, set it on the floor? And then went to check us out.when i finally got it back to my home, i went to start tuning, my high e string popped before i could even get it in tune.called the store, asked for them to fix it, and was told i needed to pay for it all over again.not to mention, my guitar was out of tune when i got it, as well.lower strings were so tight they could have popped, and upper strings were way too loose, wore my wrist out trying to tighten them carefully as to not pop the strings.if you work at a guitar centre, you should probably know how to string a guitar.staff isn’t helpful, horrid customer service, tiny store, underpriced my guitar (by $300), and all in all a bad experience.employees aren’t too responsive, either.you walk in, and they all just do their own thing.never coming here again, thanks for nothing, guys.
