Guitar Center reviews
20I’ve always been a big fan and costumer of this Guitar Center location, recently me and my friend went to the store to purchase more gear for our studio and Tony was our costumer service representative, and even though he specify that he was trying to help us, it didn’t feel like it, he was very aggressive and disrespectful to me and my friends, I always speak the best about this store but you guys show me and my friends otherwise today, hope this is the first and last time we have this experience again.
I have to give you guys 1 star for the poor costumer service delivered by Tony today at your store, he was bothering us all the time, we wanted to buy something and he was telling us that it is not going to work for us and that it is going to blow up, as a costumer I appreciate the advice of the specialists and sellers in your store, but this was too much today, to the point of being a little disrespectful.
Excellent service from Tony Campbell, he helped me choose the best guitar for my son, giving me the best advice and very good service.
Thanks Tony you rock the world!
Store with an excellent display of musical instruments and DJ equipment. You can test them too.
Lots of variety of equipment. Few vendors, but the experience of exploring everything is great!
Tried walking in to leave a guitar for a setup and I couldn’t find anyone willing to take it in or even the technician themselves. Also beware there are a bunch of client guitars in front of the repair area that anyone can just take and run off with them. Just dont waste your time here.
Poot Service! And that’s a lot! Horrible experience with my two kids! We claim the for lessons we did pay and they suspended for some management reason. They said they will add those lessons And obviously never happens. The costumer services it’s bad. I pick one stars because I need to pick something but that’s already too much.
Do not go to this location! The Winter Park location is much friendlier and has much better customer service…. This location is in a tourist area and they don’t care about their local customers because they assume that no one will come back. Terrible customer service, rude staff that won’t talk to you unless they know you are buying something. When I first walked in, I was immediately impressed by the number of guitars they had in stock and out on display and the different amps that were available on the floor to try out all the guitars until I went to actually plug in. They only let you use the incredibly short cables that are only able to plug into maybe 3 or 4 of the amps because they are attached to the platform the amps sit on. Then things got worse. I came to this store specifically to play a specific guitar, when I asked someone if they had it and if I could try it, they said they didn’t and that they could order one. AS SOON AS I SAID I JUST CAME IN TO CHECK IT OUT I was ignored with all my other questions, instead repeatedly asked if I would order that guitar. The shop wasn’t even busy and the limited staff they had was more concerned with anyone else they may come in other than the people there that might have actually bought something if the staff wasn’t so rude.
I’m here a second time and have been in the store for about 30 minutes waiting for an associate yet there seem to be none here. Multiple customers are waiting to pay and there is no one to check them out and I haven’t even been greeted since I’ve been here. I will definitely not be coming back to this location to purchase anything …. Not like I could even if I wanted to, there is no one to sell me anything. This is disappointing
We were helped by Tony to buy my son’s first guitar and he was amazing! He educated us on the best options and on everything he could possibly need to know to buy it!
Red and Ryan both deserve HUGE raises! Thanks so much for all of your help with my purchase. Sincerely, William
Only a few basses in the store, so if you want to try and buy basses this is not the right place. The customer service is good but I lost my time going there…
Sold some gear and purchased some gear at a very busy time for Guitar Center who seemed a bit under staffed however every employee was awesome! Especially Alex who was very tentative and super patient with me along with other equally annoying customers:).
Great experience in a nice clean store with super cool staff!
Thanks Alex and thanks GC.

One the largest store I have been from guitar center. The service is a bit slow, it seams like they are short on staff.
Bad service, I asked one of the people who works at the place that I wanted to check out some Headphones that I liked, they have a sample but the ones I wanted were not working and I wanted to try them to be sure of what I was buying and he told me that he didn't know what to do. I don't know why they don't work that simple I better get out and not buy anything anymore
Poor service overall. They don’t even answer the phones or let you know that they’ll get back to you. It’s like you have to beg for help in the store lol. Just terrible.
We had a guitar repaired at Guitar Center and received the most professional and high quality work we have ever seen. We will be taking ALL our business to the Guitar Center on S Orange Blossom Trail. We live in Brevard County but it is well worth the drive to have such high quality service. Thank you Guitar Center.
Regretfully we don’t have any luck ordering from Guitar Center. First of all we ordered a piano that came with broken pieces, second the volt interface had already been used, with greasy fingers prints all over it and dusty, missing package insert, and no plastic or wrapping cover to protect it. We still haven’t been able to assemble the piano because one of the legs is broken. And lastly when I picked up the guitar, there was no box, and no instructions. Also this happens after we had already made a complaint about a guitar we had ordered along with the piano, and we specifically said we didn’t want the one on the wall. Two days later they said it was ready for pick up and they gave us the exact same one that was hanging on the wall and even was cracked at the bottom. Of course, instead of ordering a new one, the guy at the store returned it, why did he return an item which i never actually received, and that caused me to lose the 48 month financing plan, and no way to take advantage of that.
My husband is a musician and he has been a loyal customer for 17+ years and every-time we go to guitar center is a let down.
We will be making a formal complaint, but we have been so busy that we haven’t found the time to do it. I doubt it will change anything but at least other people get to see what a terrible store this is. We’ve always given guitar center another chance, but it is always a let down. In the future we will be going to other stores like samash and sweetwater even amazon can do better, to get what we need.
On top of everything, sales persons at the store are very unfriendly and rude, with a very very few exceptions. Unless you buy the extended warranty which is optional.
The way I see it, a customer stepping into the store is not an opportunity to help them, it is an opportunity to rip off someone and to sell the extended warranty.
Had an amazing experience learning about a mixer to have a karaoke night at my house. Carlos was the one that helped me and was absolutely fantastic with teaching me everything there is to know as well as finding the correct setup for my equipment that I brought in. Thank you again Carlos for your help!
Terrible service, this store is GARBAGE. If you want to waste time where nobody will help or answer any questions you have, this is the place for you.
Very poor service, I went to get information to rent a weighted keyboard and they transferred me to the rental area. The person in charge told me to go somewhere else because he was too busy. Overall, if they are going to treat customers like this, they might as well close down and declare bankruptcy.
