I found a 2018 Mercedes Benz GLE 43 AMG Coupe online at Gulf Coast Auto Brokers of Sarasota (GCAB) and decided to visit this location a couple days later just to “look around. ” Two hours later after arriving, I drove off the dealership with that same vehicle. Unlike other dealerships I have purchased vehicles from in the past, GCAB worked with me in a straightforward, no hassle, but professional and courteous manner throughout the purchase process. Both Harold (my salesman) and Marcin (Sales Manager) were very respectful and open-minded of my critical thinking mindset while negotiating the purchasing terms with me, and even went out their way at working the logistics to ensure that a minor (but needed) sunroof repair on that vehicle was scheduled and completed to satisfaction (no additional cost to me) ; something that most pre-owned car dealerships will not do when customers are purchasing “As Is”! GCAB took care of me from start to finish of the purchase process with no friction whatsoever. I have already suggested to a couple of my fellow neighbor/friends who are currently in the market for used vehicles to visit GCAB. Not only does GCAB have decent quality used vehicles for purchase, but they also have a staff that doesn’t waste customers’ time and energy with all that unwanted “dealership talk” full of tricks and misguiding information. I highly recommended this local used car dealership to anyone looking to purchase in the Sarasota area.

I recently purchased a 2022 ram 3500 Dooley Richard was my salesman top-of-the-line if you want quality I recommend Gulf Coast Auto Brokers of Sarasota all the employees are very knowledgeable if you’re looking for a dealership that takes care of their customers first, then take my advice take a look on their lot you’ll be glad you did. As a first time car buyer on my own I was so pleased with the experience I had! This was the first place I went to and I'm so glad I didn't waste time anywhere else because they had exactly what I was looking for. RICHARD WAS AMAZING! I still can't believe I was able to get such an amazing deal! He really helped make it happen for me and it has made my whole year! Everyone was kind, courteous and not pushy at all! Highly recommend because they have a really nice selection at really nice prices!

I went there the other day just to look around and ended up driving home in a pickup truck. Richard was great to work with no pressure no hype just a laid-back easy experience. Patrick in finance was also good to work with. He handled everything. They don't add any extra fees like the dealership I was at the day before. (What is a "non tax fee") they were all very nice to work with. I got the truck I want it plus a full tank of fuel. When the time comes I'll be back. I highly recommend them

I wish ZERO stars was an option.
Man… where to even start with they guys… They suck. I wanted to like them so bad, but all-in-all, they just suck really bad.
Unless you’re ok with slimy salesman whom are knowingly selling problem vehicle, I’d would not recommend Gulf Coast to anyone I know, or at least anyone that I like.

Paid cash asking price on a GMC Terrain in December 2022. It’s now August 2023 and I’ve been going rounds with this dealership about the dishonestly in the vehicle I purchased for my teenagers to drive.

To begin, the airbag light was/is on from the day I test drove it. I was assured by the salesman (and then reassured by the owner) that the vehicle had been evaluated mechanically and the only “problem” was simply a bad airbag sensor; to which they had already had on order and would replace to fix the problem as soon as it arrived. GREAT! I was also reassured that the vehicle was safe and that the airbag would function properly in the event it were needed. Over the next 6 months and 8 inquiring phone calls I had to make to follow up on the sensor issue, I learned that not only had no sensor been ordered, when I was finally told to bring it back in to have the sensor replaced, the light cleared for about 1 week and then came back on. I took it to a local mechanics and learned that the vehicle didn’t even have a sensor! That’s right. NO SENSOR! Meaning I’ve been not only lied to about the sensor TWICE, my kids safety has also been in danger FOR MONTHS because the airbag certainly will not work if there is no sensor AT ALL to tell it to deploy. Gulf coast simply hit a “reset” button to clear the dash light. Literally fraudulent.

Additionally, I’ve learned that the headlight was literally superglued into place, requiring an entire new assembly to replace to the tune of a few hundred dollars. The glue broke loose from the improper glue job rendering the headlight entirely useless. Closer inspection of the other headlamp shows the glue also

When I purchased the vehicle, I agreed to pay asking price for the vehicle in exchange for new tires (bald), and new windshield wipers, and correction of the airbag sensor issue. An agreement was handwritten by the salesman when I left the deposit. I noticed on the drive home that it felt like it maybe needed an alignment. Within days of purchasing the tire sensor light came on, so I took it to a shop to check the alignment issue.
A local tire shop showed me that the “new tires” Gulf Coast put on were entirely dry rotted and were from 2017. Within days of paying nearly $18k cash, I had to spend another $1000+ just to make it safe to drive. Come to find out they went as far as to even change only ONE of the windshield wipers… I mean, seriously? !? Supposedly the tire sensor was also replaced when the airbag sensor was replaced… yeah, also missing in action…

This place is a joke. Currently waiting on the owners call back to answer for the sensors they put on my vehicle that mysteriously don’t exist. My next steps are legal because this is absurd

From first point of contact until the signing of the paperwork, everything was perfect! This was the best car buying experience we have ever had. As soon as we arrived at the dealership Basil had the car we knew we wanted, waiting in front for us to test drive. He was so happy we were there and made us feel so comfortable and stress-free. Art was great as well. So friendly and knowledgeable and answered all our questions thoroughly.
We will definitely enjoy our new challenger thanks to you guys!

Buyers beware! They sell used cars that have issues. Read reviews on as is cars on here. Car driven one time after it was bought and broke down (in June). Car still not able to run and it’s almost august. They asked me to take my last bad review down, now I can see why.and then they had their mechanic look and they paid for one part to make them look good. The car needs much more obviously, since it’s still not running. Meanwhile my son is $3,000 into repair and it’s still in a garage. You would think they would rightfully take the car back. This means they never checked this car before selling. They said they did. As is they still have to tell you what’s wrong or done to it. I asked several times if the car was checked and the sales man said yes, nothing wrong with car. That it has a stage one and the car had a stage 3 and major issues. I have to now get a lawyer and spend more money. They were notified a few days after the sale and basically said as is so that’s your problem. They will say anything to look right.

Recently bought a car at Gulf Coast Auto and it was the best experience I’ve had at any car dealership. The customer service was great and the finance manager Patrick did a great job at helping me with my options and deciding on the best deal for me. I would recommend Gulf Coast Auto to anyone looking to buy a car.

I had a wonderful experience buying 2 vehicles from Basil. He is the only Salesman I have ever bought 2 cars from. He is friendly knowledgeable, quick with all the paperwork and had me through the process in half an hour. I also had great service from Marcin, the Sales Manager. He helped me with the price I needed to stay within my budget. Patrick, the Credit Manager, was also a pleasure to work with. He was able to get me a decent interest rate in these turbulent times. Overall I am happy with my decision to buy 2 vehicles from Gulf Coast Auto. Give them a try I know you'll be glad you did!

Bought 2 work vans from Gulf Coast a few years ago and got what i paid for. Since ot was a positive experience, I went recently, looking for a minivan for a family car. They just couldn't adjust the price to what I thought it was worth, but the experience was positive overall. I really appreciated the fact that they didn't try to waste my time. They were very upfront about what they were willing to do, price wise.

First impression by far five stars! Basil was great to deal with and financing was a breeze. There are a couple minor things that need fixed on the car but I don't have any doubt they will take care of that like they said they would. Highly recommend!
