Gulf Coast Seafood Market and Restaurant, Pensacola FL

I was very pleased with the look & taste of their seafood so I asked the owner Gerard Patti how often they changed their grease, he told me even with an expensive filtering system in place they still change it every week. In todays economy it's Good to see restaurant owners putting their customers First, I guess that's why His Family has been in business since 1935, as in JOE PATTI Seafood.

Ordered the catfish basket which comes with one side added a drink and it was $16 total. The fish was very good and the sweet tea was good too. The people that work there are nice. It's a cute little place.

First let me say that the staff here is amazing. Then their food is amazing. Today was my second time, can't wait to go again.

The food was ok this time. Last time we went it was great (that's why I gave a 4 instead of 3). The fried shrimp this time was overdone and slightly rubbery. The fried fish was good- I had the grouper. Prices are decent. I will say the runners throughout the restaurant were extra sticky and maybe they need new rugs. (Also, the lady working the dining room was not very nice and seemed bossy and kinda rude. Last time we didn't have that issue either).

Their food is delicious. However I would of gave 5's if they made oyster po boys but they said they don't make oyster nor shrimp po boys

The owners are friendly and come and say hello if they have time very welcoming wonderful place! Shout out great tasting seafood wow!

And my boss went in there he got us both a basket of mullet it was more than I could eat and it was good I will definitely go back I've seen the place for many years never went in there very friendly people too

My husband & I were visiting the area from Myrtle Beach, SC and wanted some seafood we’ve decided to try this restaurant and was very pleased with our service and food. The food was delicious.

Excellent food, staff with a hometown locals hangout vibe. Loved it. Able to eat a great lunch while waiting on market to steam some royal reds for dinner.

Fresh and scrumptious! Super fast and friendly service! Generous servings, more than I could eat. Restaurant filled to capacity on a week night with locals, all so friendly. We will be back! Oh, and get the gumbo; it's the best I've ever eaten. Get the bread pudding too.perfect taste and texture.

Way over priced will not be back. $203 for salad and slices of meat. 4 people.unreal. Thanks. Staff was great. No one explained pricing even dessert was not included in dinner price.
