Gulf Way Inn, Clearwater FL

I do not recommend going to this motel, the man that owns the hotel is a creep and sneaks into people's rooms when there not there, and even if you're there in the room he will still come in, he has key cards for the rooms and will come in your room whenever he pleases, it's weird and an invasion of privacy, i gave him a warning, but next time i will call the police. This place made me feel uncomfortable i felt like i couldn't even sleep.so please i do not recommend this place, for your own safety

Just spent one night since the power company turned off my electric due to dangerous conditions. There was miscommunication since we believed two nights were paid for since my insulin needed to stay refrigerated.

I feel so bad and wrong to book this place. Disdainful and impolite attitude towards customers.will never come back. So bad

I stayed here for a long weekend trip. Housekeeping definitely stays on top of it with keeping the room clean daily. I'd come back from the beach with a clean scent, made beds, and clean floors. The pool was nice too. I wish more people would take advantage of the motel pools like they did years ago. The only issues I noticed were the microwave was a little faulty and the bathroom light kept flickering when I turned it on. Aside from that, everything was in good working order.

Very dirty, staff impolite, unprofessional and very arrogant. Never been to such a bad place.very bad. I am a person who loves to travel and I felt extremely disappointed when I booked such a hotel.will never go back.

A/C wouldn't keep room cool. Needs to be up dated. For this I wouldn't recommend.

The rooms are very clean, simple furniture but comfortable and a great house keeper, family operate central located and friendly.

Good little beach motel. Clean if a bit dated. Quiet, no bedbugs found. Refrigerator and microwave in the room

Came down from GA to attend my fiancé Ultimate Medical Academy graduation in Tampa and decided to stay here instead of in Tampa. It was only a 27 mile drive to the the USF campus. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Her elderly parents traveled with us and the gentleman in the office made sure the two rooms we booked were next door to each other.

The rooms were nice and tidy upon checking in. They both had a microwave along with a refrigerator with a separate freezer. The INN is in great location of restaurants, and there is a Publix literally a 2 minute walk around the corner.

The only things I didn't like about this was the fact that the walls are very thin, so you will hear outside noise if your air conditioner isn't continuously running. And there were a few gnats that were a slight problem until I was able to flush them down the sink. But overall, I WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN.

Mold smell. Sticky carpet. Curtain near window had toothpaste spit on it. Slept with towel on the pillow

I love this place we stay here when we come to fla.nice Peaceful place. Can't wait to come back

If ya have a problem with this place, it's you. Clean. Comfortable beds, though I always carry my own pillow. Bathroom and shower spotless. The price was a tad bit more for my pocket, but all in all, location, cleanliness wonderful.

There was roaches in my room. And my room was really dirty and smelly from cigarette smoke. When my husband went away by ambulance there was no room for them to park, so they had park their vehicle at Publix that was a block down. Needless to say my husband passed away from their neglected behavior. Poor management

Good value for the money. New Carpet as well as microwave and mid sized refrigerator/freezer which I highly value. Got prompt help in the room with question about tv remote. Good location on Route 60 and adjacent to Publix grocery store and many, many restaurants within 2 blocks or less.

I booked my reservation with a week in advance. I came to the hotel and the “person” that was in the front desk only open the small windows to say that doesn’t matter if I had a reservation. The hotel was full. He Closed the window and there you are with no place
To stay for the night.

This place is disgusting, nothing like the pictures, got double charged on my credit card, and of the 5 people coming out of the rooms in the morning I'm pretty sure all but on were cracked out, I will never stay there again or recommend to anyone. It's absolutely horrible, online pictures are a total lie.

This is a really nice place staff are great internet is good and the hotel rooms are not bad this is a very nice place to stay

It's clean and I mean there are no roaches. Alittle ghetto but it wasn't a big deal. Parking lot was lit up nice. Nothing was taken from my truck.pool looked clean but I didn't get a chance to swim. But I would stay here again.
