At a trying time, my daughter was rear ended, Gulf Winds and Kim Glass in particular, stepped up and made the loan and refinance process simple. They have gained a new, life long member!

I was looking for a car loan and Gulf Winds were very competitive! It took me two months to find the vehicle and numerous inquiries but Gulf Winds were very patient with me. I would have to say that my experience with their rep Kim Glass was the best ever! I'm transferring my bank savings to this credit union, I appreciate the way I was treated throughout. Many Thanks

Easy online process to open an account. No hassle. I am a Credit Union lifer for all my banking needs! Can't wait to move to Florida and begin a new Chapter in my life. Just continuing the Journey and will be surrounded by family.

So far I have been waiting to be seen for over half an hour just to close an account. They have never had great customer service and they can't blame covid, since it has been this way before then. Not leaving till I close my account.

Very helpful, efficient and friendly experience. I would recommend Gulf Winds to everyone. Overall good experience and was helped in a timely manner. Associate made sure that she had covered all ares of the visit and that there was nothing more she could help with before leaving.

Very pleased with all that the credit union has done for us. They are very helpful and understanding. I would highly recommend. I also asked the employee, how they are treated. She informed me that they are well taken care of and that the company really appreciates them. I was very happy to hear that.

This was my first visit into the bank since the pandemic. I was welcomed with a smile from the representative who handled my transaction at the first window. She is one of my favorites there and it was good to see her again. Thank you.

I was working with Kim! She’s very intelligent, informative, and very motivated Financial Representative. She took care of me, and all my needs. It was a smooth and Easiest process for getting an auto loan!

There ATM's do not accept deposits so that causes you to go overdrawn when you cannot put money in the ATM during your my time this is unacceptable I will be closing my account as soon as it is up-to-date

Refinanced our home loan in April 2020. Smooth transaction until I emailed my mortgage processor May 19 to find out why I still haven’t gotten a new account set up to make payments on our mortgage as I had filled out the required paperwork at closing. I was met with “oh, sorry that paper shouldn’t have been in there, your loan has been sold. ” I have never received any notice from Gulf Winds aside from that emailed response. The processor told me the company they had sold us to.a 1 1/2 star unaccredited company with hundreds of terrible reviews. I have had to go through hoops just to prove my insurance as this new company was trying to double insure me. They continue taking money for escrow payments yet my account still says it is a “non-escrowed” account and they have yet to update my tax information after two calls. I am so livid that I just had to do all this paperwork and pay Gulf Winds thousands of dollars only for them to turn around and sell my loan to such a terrible company so I am forced to do more paperwork and make continuous phone calls so our account can get straightened out!

UPDATE:
Was contacted by Joanne and after voicing my concerns she contacted the company that purchased our loan and ensured everything was sorted out appropriately. I appreciate how quickly our issue was addressed and resolved and am happy to be a Gulf Winds customer!

AMANDA IS THE BEST. She really cares about what she does and providing exceptional service for her customers. I felt like I mattered and she went above and beyond in working on my behalf. Gulf Winds you have a true gem working for you.

We have been exceptionally happy with GWCU. We have been with them for over ten years, and use them for all of our banking and financing needs.
