Gulf World Marine Park, Panama City Beach FL

Was here many years ago and the place was in much better shape. Sat for 40 minutes at the Tropical Theater only to find out it was closed for construction. No signs advising of this plus several workers walking past and nothing said. Don't waste your money.

I've wanted to swim with Dolphins my entire life. From the time I walked in and Nichelle was super friendly and helpful. The staff was amazing. I can't say enough about how happy I am with this experience

Went off season. The place is small and needs renovation. But we still enjoyed ourselves. I recommend the shows and the sting ray petting / feeding pool.

I have been coming here since I was a young girl and now I’m 35. They never fail at making me feel like a little kid again. Some amazing things I learned and got to experice. I enjoyed the stingrays.

I regret what I paid for the dolphin encounter for my teens. They enjoyed it, BUT for that price, I should have been able to take my own pictures and videos! Taking your own is prohibited, and they warn you of that beforehand. However, the photographer did not get many good pictures, and then they try to sell them to you for a ridiculous price.
It also seemed like the photographer focused on the younger kids. In the end, I was left with ZERO pictures of my teens swim adventure with the dolphins and a sense of regret. The aquarium is small and won’t take too long to see. I would NOT pay for the dolphin adventure if I had it to do over! I was left with a sense of regret, but maybe that was just our experience and not what’s typical. Too expensive. Letting ME take my own pictures and videos would have solved the problem and made me a happy customer!

Empty the tanks Walk across the street and look out into the Gulf of Mexico to see happy dolphins, not ones trapped in small enclosures for bored humans to gawk at.

This is a great place to see dolphin shows and sea lion shows. This is a small scale version of Sea World and they do a really good job of showcasing the animals and there talents. Definitely recommend if your in town.

We had a great time today at Gulf World. The only reason for 4 stars is because there were some exhibits not being open. My daughter did the rough tooth dolphin meet and greet. She loved it. The admission price is excellent. And the staff and trainers all are friendly and nice.

We went for a visit recently when we came to the beach. Very very unimpressed by both the facility itself and the staff. DO NOT waste your money. We knew going in that the dolphin show was closed, but you couldn't even see them. What they didn't tell us was that the sea turtles, which were the main reason we came, were also off display. We made it in right as the sea lion show was ending, and there wasn't another show for about 3 hours. I assure you, there is nothing to do to kill more than 30 mins here, so we didn't get to see those either. The only decent part about the whole trip was feeding the sting rays, but they even kicked us out of that area a few mins after arriving for some kind of special show.
As if all that weren't bad enough, the family that paid for admission right before me came out at the same time (less than 30 mins later) with their kids complaining that they wanted to stay for the sea lion show, but they were bored. They asked the staff what else there was to do to kill time, and they were not only unhelpful, but when the family ultimately decided to just leave, the staff laughed about it because they didn't see me around the corner listening.
We spent a lot of money for our family of 7 to spend 30 mins looking at birds. Very disappointing. We won't be back.

Wonderful experience, great staff! A good amount of dolphin time compared to other places. Great memories. Photo package can be pricey but oh well it’s a life experience.

Great people but the cost of the pictures is high.

Very relaxed and fun place. You can see stingrays, large parrots/macaws up close. We attended the dolphin show, bird show, and the sea lion show. All very entertaining. Each show only lasts around 20 minutes. You get to watch the animals perform a few tricks but not so long that you get bored.

The ladies at the shows were amazing and super nice. The people at the gift shop registers were the rudest people ever.

My wife and I had a fun time overall. I suggest arriving at opening time. The day we went the shark exhibit was closed so that was a bummer. There are several animals to walk around and check out but you can't miss their sea lion and dolphin shows. The animal trainers did a wonderful job displaying the intelligence of their animals and the relationship they all have. We can tell these people love their job's. If it is after lunch time and you're considering going maybe go another day so you can see all the shows they have that day.

My kid loved it the dolphin show was cool and they have beautiful birds and you can rum sting rays and feed them it was really cool me and my kid spent lots of time letting g the sting rays swim up to our hands checked out penguins and turtles even have nursery sharks and you can have Pic made and take your own and the booths were you stick your head in the cut out pic it was family fun

We purchased 5 swim with the dolphins for nearly $700, and had an appointment at 2: 00 pm (on our last day there) they call us at 9: 15 am and said they had to cancel the time and asked if we could be there by 9: 30 am (15 minutes) but we were over 30 minutes away without traffic.we have asked for a refund and said we would, get it in 4 weeks, has been 12 still no refund, we have contacted them several times and get the run a round.pay at the door if you go!

There was not as much to observe as I would have liked for the price you pay.the shows are nice, but needs more to do without paying extra

Took our daughter here this morning and we all had a wonderful time.truly amazing shows.our daughter got to touch a dolphin and to see her smile was worth every penny.i love that you can tell how much these people love working with the animals.birds.dolphins and much more to see definitely worth checking out.
