Saw me quickly when I arrived, very professional, Office very clean, and they streamline and organize well. Staff was very friendly, Dr. Lorenzo very kind and knowledgeable. The nurse who drew my blood didn’t hurt and knew exactly what she was doing.

During my whole pregnancy I was grateful to have wonderful service from the receptionist to the staff! I really appreciate everyone for being so supportive, helpful and very sweet! All the doctors were awesome! Thank you again to Dr. Hord!

Best OBGYN I’ve ever been to. All the providers are amazing. Dr. Javate delivered my beautiful baby boy, he made sure all my questions and concerns were answered and he made sure that I had all the information I needed before making any decisions. I would definitely recommend this place!

Doctors Hord delivered my baby in August of 2023.
He was fantastic! Delivery day got pretty stressful for me but he explained everything to me personally he made me feel very confident that everything would be okay… and everything turned out perfect.
Pretty much all the doctors at gulf Coast OB are really awesome doctors! Malinowska really became my favorite doctor to see during my pregnancy! She was on top of everything and really made me feel like I could trust her with everything for me and my baby to be healthy.

The women at the front desk is so unprofessional and rude. When you call for anything she seems bothered.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Hord who used a Doppler to listen to baby’s heartbeat. He probed my entire stomach, literally not a clue on how to do it. He could not find my baby’s heartbeat and left the room like no care in the world. They said they couldn’t do an ultrasound bc no tech was there to do it. I left the office crying, super confused and worried about my baby. Needless to say I will not be returning. What a traumatic experience.

Guillermo Calderon Was the worst doctor I was having in my life I don’t understand why people study for this profession if don’t want to really help people.

Since I was a teenager I’ve been going to gulfcoast institute and have never had a bad experience! I’ve now delivered two babies with javate and Shamas and both were amazing! These doctors actually listen to any concerns and never blow you off. Grateful for how comfortable they make you feel every time!

Overall, I'm very satisfied with the prenatal care I received at this office and their Saint Pete location. Taylor Lentz is extremely caring, really takes her time to address all of your concerns and dedicate time to patient education. Dr. Malinowska is an actual saint and one of the best, most caring Doctors I've ever had. She went above and beyond to assist me with getting maternity leave arranged and address concerns with hypotension and fainting during my pregnancy. Dr. Javate was always very friendly and assisted me the day I was induced by encouraging me to go to the hospital. I also appreciate him for my post partum care. Dr. Shamas, who I unfortunately did not meet (due to issues w/ my own availability) until I was induced and in labor - was amazing. She was so personable and instantly put me and my husband at ease during the birthing process, and a fabulous coach. I am very grateful to all of the providers here. The front desk was also polite at both locations. I did have kind of a headache with paperwork for leave, but it did eventually get resolved and worked out. Also sorry, but not really a huge fan of Dr. Calderon? Met him in the mom and baby suite (according to the nurses) but he didn't introduce himself, and confused me when clearing me to go home without taking more than a few steps into the room and asking how labor was. I was cleared without him checking anything or asking about bleeding/palpating uterus or any sort of assessment. Things happen, but overall the providers and my experience were great.

Arrived at 1p for a 1: 30p appointment. Waited for a doctor up to 1: 53p. I ask someone if the doctor is here and she said that’s me” as she was talking to someone else. She continued to speak to the person up to 2p and when she approached me I told her that I wanted to reschedule. She tried to get get me to stay but I was already in a mood due to her complete disregard of my time. She tried to blame the scheduling staff that they should have told me since I checked in online I didn’t need to be here so early. I didn’t like that…the longest I needed to wait after 1: 30p is 15 mins max…take accountability for your tardiness! I hope that this doctor is able to learn from this interaction with me and that other patients get the help they need in the time they agreed.
