Gunther Volkswagen Delray Beach

I bought a car new from Gunther coconut creek in 2022, with any new car purchase Gunther offers this: "Receive 3 years free maintenance on any new Volkswagen vehicles purchased or leased from a Gunther Volkswagen dealership only. " A free oil change at 10k, 20k and 30k miles.

Well, I went to Gunther Delray for my 3rd COMPLIMENTARY oil change, and they wouldn't honor this promotion, called me a dishonest customer in the process, implying that I would have already done a third oil change at any other of their locations (they could've just used their system to check my car's history but ok).

Ended going back to the Gunther location where I purchased the car, and they did the oil change without questions, and I even took the chance to do some other maintenance to the car.

Gunther Delray, pull your socks! The service department is costing you a customer and potential future buyers, all over a simple oil change.

Worst experience ever. My advisor Drew is great, but my experience at Gunter Delray Beach wasn’t good. Not only I got charged 3% credit card fees, but the car wasn’t fixed. I took my car to Volkswagen because I trusted you guys. I paid over $5200 for service, lights not functioning, and other issues

If you want to feel like family, if you want to feel like you are buying from a place that isn’t out to just maximize profit, this is the place to go. They made me feel like more than a number. James is one of the good ones:)

Was a great experience high recommended, great services and people are so professional and very friendly.

Dave was great; he was extremely personable-and knowledgeable. It was a pleasure doing business with him. This was our third time ending again in a positive outcome. Dave is an asset to Gunther!

Just moved here from Connecticut and needed general service on my car: oil and brake fluid changed and tires rotated. Location was clean and the staff were ver happy and friendly. The waiting area was clean, free tea/coffee/water and snack machines but furniture definitely needs to be replaced. I only gave 4 stars because it was very difficult finding a place to park my car while I waited for service to greet me.

01/26/24 UPDATE
OMGosh. I went for a simple oil change. My appointment was at 12: 30. I did not get my car back till 4: 30. TOTALLY unacceptable that a customer has to wait 4 hours for an oil change. Also when I set up my appointment no one told the dealership location is under construction and I need to go to their Volvo dealership for my appointment. I was not the only upset customer. I’m going to look for another dealership for my maintenance.

Had such a great experience with Beau Brady from Gunther VW Delray Beach FL.got the car I wanted at the price I wanted! I’m so happy with the car and the great service I received leasing my 2024 Tiguan. I highly recommend Beau & Gunter VW Delray!

It’s great to have “carefree maintenance” on your new VW, but it’s a shame it takes 4 hours for an oil change (especially when you’re quoted 2 hours and choose to wait it out because you don’t have a ride). Four hours wait for an oil change is inexcusable when the quoted wait time is 2 hours. If nothing else, an update at 2 hours in would be the conscientious thing to do. Horrible customer service.

On Saturday January 20,2024, I leased a new Jetta SE. The salesperson and staff were helpful and courteous. They did everything they could to put me in the car I was wanting at a reasonable price.

Grody in the Service Dept took me right away and on time. He followed up appropriately, was professional and courteous.
John, who drove the shuttle was excellent. Also right on time and very professional. He even called to check to see if I needed a return ride. And, he’s a cautious driver. I felt very comfortable driving with him.
Only one disappointment. I didn’t know that I had to request a car wash in advance. So the car did not get washed. All else was top notch!

I just leased my 6 th vehicle since 2009 from Gunther VW with Bob Masucci. Bob made my experience as pleasant as possible. He was very professional and helpful. I would recommend seeing him if you are interested in driving a VW or Volvo. 5 stars for Bob.

Service quality was fair, as I have to come back the next day to reset “oil change notice”. Service time estimate was inaccurate as it took technician two hours to complete investigation and told me additional service required. Grody arranged a car loaner so I could make my 11: 30 pm doctor appointment.

Gunther Volvo has the best customer service from the Finance team to the Salesman! Ask for Paul Harper (Salesman)

Do yourself a favor and stay away from Bomin Volvo! Decided to go to Gunther after a poor experience with Bomin… it’s like night and day. Gunther will treat you like family. Bomin will treat you like a red headed step child! Beware!
