Habanos On The Creek, Tavernier FL

Stopped here after a recommendation from our tour boat Captain, Russ. The tostones were absolutely fabulous and perfectly fried! All five of us enjoyed our food, including the churrasco, midnight sandwich, and land and sea special. The fried yucca and sweet plantains were both perfect! Everything was more affordable than other restaurants in the area too. Our server, Yosuel, was lovely and he recommended the grated coconut dessert (dulce de coco). I'm not a huge fan of coconut but this was yummy! It was not shredded coconut but more of a mashed coconut in sweet syrup with cream cheese on top. It sounds crazy but you should try it! My kids already said they want to come back again. Delicious food, great atmosphere stting outside under the covered area, and we got to see a beautiful sunset, so I would definitely recommend this place!

Stopped in here to grab some Cuban food. Reviews said it was a good spot and they did not disappoint. Sitting outside on the patio enjoyed a good view, some manatees, and amazing food. Good portions, tender meats, and to top it off an amazing cup of coffee.

Here is another hole in the wall gem you have to find in Taverier. Extensive menu with daily specials. Not muh atmosphere but the food more than makes up for it and it lokked right along the Taverier Creek.

We visited Key Largo on a Christmas day and realized that most of the restaurants were closed. However, we were very lucky to met the owner and found this restaurant. The view, food, ambience, service, price, etc.are perfect! We ordered the snappers taco, special fried rice, and cuban sandwich, and everything was SO good! I highly recommend this place! It’s located near the water, so you can enjoy delicious meal while enjoying the view

Hidden little gem in my opinion. The food is great and affordable (For the Keys). I usually go with a lunch special. Portions are nice, price is right and the view is nice.

Best meal we’ve had thus far. Great to watch the fish and the boats come by your table as you eat really fresh fish tacos and cracked conch.

This place is amazing place to park Our boat When we got off there were fish everywhere inside the river the service was also amazing I got the chicken Philly and it was absolutely amazing you should definitely go here me personally I don’t like cuban but this place had many options

Don't let the small building fool you. This is one of the best restaurants in the Florida Keys. I live in Key West, tried it all, Habanos is hands down my number 1 favorite. Not only is the food incredible but the service is great and the people are friendly. I left my phone sitting on the table (long day of fishing) and my server actually flagged me down in his car to return it! Amazing food and even better people!

Easy getting there by land or the creek. Great service & excellent Cuban food. Menu changes daily so it is all fresh.

The waitress is very friendly and pleasant.

Great Cuban food right on the water, friendly people and a huge menu! The food was great. The only problem is the parking is small and tight.

This place is a hidden gem and a must see. It tucked away on the water by the back of the marina. 3 tables are outside and right on the water. Lots of fish to see and we also saw a nurse shark swim by. The owner who I believe is Cuban was super friendly with a seemingly all Cuban staff. My wife and I had Cuban coffee and cuban nachos. Quite amazing. The nachos were made with plantain chips and marinated pork. Total bill was $20. Amazing and well worth the stop!

The mahi mahi wrap had a different twist. It was also stuffed with rice, black, beans, plantains and pico de gallo. The fried snapper was delicious with tostones. The guava dessert a must super fresh not over sweet. And the Cuban coffee a must. The service was great! And ate by the creek watching the boats go by.

The food was delicious. Such friendly staff and excellent service! We loved stopping here on our way down to Key West. Beautiful area to dine by the water. Excellent view! Had the Cuban sandwich. It was a good sized portion that filled me up. I left happy with a smile on my face. Definitely recommend for authentic amazing Cuban food!
