Chinese Restaurant Hakkasan reviews
22Exceptional service, from entering to leaving this restaurant has a lot of attention of hospitality. We felt very special, the food from apps to dessert was phenomenal. We ordered a lot for 4 people but it was worth the experience. Sharing style is what I would recommend. Yes the price is high on some plates but the quality, location and service is all part of it, for us it was justified. Very good date night location
Deliscious! Such a great meal and experience. I was recommended this restaurant from a friend and it did not disappoint. The dim sum and pecking duck are an absolute must! They were booth superb. We also had the orange chicken, peppered tenderloin and stir fry beef with shishito. Everything was yummy! Atmosphere was quaint, dark and romantic, good for dates, special event or small groups. The hotel that it is in is also very nice.
Located at the 'Fontainebleau', this restaurant is sophisticated, authentic with an intimate setting. It offers quality cuisine with a variety of amazing flavors. Attentive staff and top-notch service! Strongly recommended!
Update: 6/19 second time at Hakkasan. Servers were very courteous, helpful and attentive. Food/drinks were delicious. Atmosphere is still nice/intimate. Once again, impeccable service. Strongly recommended if you're in the Miami area.
We went for Miami Spice during dinner and I am vegan and had decided to order for the regular menu as I did not see a vegetarian/vegan menu advertised. Upon our arrival I was informed they had a menu catered to my dietary restrictions and I was elated to hear this! I had a salad for appetizer, which lacked dressing, other than that the flavors were delicious. For the main course, I had the black pepper "chicken", baby Pak Choi and fried rice.
Wow! The best meal I've had in a while! For dessert, both desserts they had listed were not vegan but they were very understanding and switch it for a tropical sorbet that ended my night on a sweet note. I would hands down recommend Hakkasan anytime, the only thing I would change is that the music was a little loud.
The atmosphere and place gets an easy 5 star. It was a gorgeous restaurant. Also the crispy duck appetizer with hoisin sauce was among the best I’ve ever had. The dumbo kings where okay, and the fried rice lacked depth (we got the special one that had all meats and seafood). The ribs also lacked a generous amount of sauce, but they were fall off the bone. We happened to try every dessert. The green tea ice cream came in a cold sone bowl which was cool. The macarons where also delicious. If you like dark chocolate flavor I would opt for the dark lava cake.
The first thing I recognized when I walked in was the dark, mysterious decor, it made me feel like I was back in the Fushimi-ku shrine in Kyoto! Pretty cool.
Next up was the menu. I originally came for Miami Spice but quickly saw a few other things that I had to try, like the dim sum and roast duck. Both were incredible and must haves if you visit! The chocolate lava dessert was also incredible along with the service, even though 18% service charge is already included in the check, even for a party of 2.
Tips when visiting:
1. Be prepared to spend at least $100/person, this place isn't cheap
2. There is a public parking lot to the left of the hotel
3. You will need to walk to the departures entrance to catch your Uber, you cannot get an Uber from the regular entrance by the bar/lobby. Walk down the hallway past Liv and you'll get there.
Service and quality like no other, food was delicious and staff made a birthday celebration extra special
Yesterday we went for dinner to Hakkasan and we were so impressed of the restaurant, the food is amazing, one of the best Asian food I’ve had. The manager and waiters were so professional and friendly, doing their best to please us in any way.
I can’t wait to go back to Hakkasan!
Why most of the restaurants in Miami have to play there music so loud? Hakkasan use to have a nice athmosphere but now they have a crazy DJ who must be deaf and make the place unbearable.
I came here for my 30th birthday and Wow is all i can say! The food was great and the presentation was super cute. The staff was great. They even got something out of the menu for my daughter which was so nice. I would definitely recommend this place if you are ever in miami.
This was my 3rd Hakkasan experience in a different country, best so far.
Food was fantastic.
We were a party of 8 & had 2 different signatures menus, portions were generous almost double to what you get in hakkasan in London.
Service was very good & catered well for 8 of us.
Only point to improve on for me, would be the deco & lightning.
Would highly recommend.
Extremely overpriced, entrees were inedible either too sweet or overpowering flavors, service ok, it's basically a tourist trap
Menu items for dim sum include a black fungus cabbage dumpling, a black rice vegetable dumpling, stir-fry black pepper vegetarian chicken, and vegan chocolate cake. For dinner, find a bean curd lotus roll, tofu clay pot with butternut squash in sanpei sauce, taro root vegetable fried rice, and mango custard
If you want a real treat in Miami you should try Hakkassn! Located in the Fountain Blue hotel which is always interesting! Excellent Food and Service!
A little bit disappointed. We have better Asian dining in Norway, which I didn’t expect. The mushroom soup was thin and quite tasteless, main course was better but I didn’t really fall in love with it. Not the best value for money, but of course good food.
Awesome place, food, drinks and service.
BUT don’t even try going to the pool area to walk around after your expensive meal: you will be kicked out for not being a hotel guest. So next time you come to this hotel to have lunch or dinner, pay your bill, pay valet, get your car and leave since you are not welcomed.
Some of the best chinese food I have probably had anywhere and I live in San Francisco, which is saying something.
This is one of my favorite places. I usually sit at the counter, so I never have to wait to be seated. The food is always great, and the servers are very friendly.
Certainly one of the best Chinese restaurant in Florida, the food and the service are near perfect, and what is rare for a chinese restaurant the deserts are very good
Dim Sum weekends, if you're going to go definitely try they're warm chocolate fondant absolutely amazing.
