Halal Market حلال reviews
15Thanks for offering Halal food in Orlando City. I stayed for short period (4 nights) in hotel near by and this shop was very good option to by all my groceries of Halal food? They also offer a good selection of fresh fruits and vegetables.but the service need to be enhanced since the lady was not that cooperative and the place looks dull.
I and my wife and children are visiting Orlando. We wanted to buy some Halal meat to cook for our children. We bought 2 lbs of ground beef. When we came home and opened the package the meat had a foul smell. We took it back and received a refund. What really upset us was the way the boss came out with the meat and threw it in the garbage in front of us.
Wanted to buy some indian grocery and I must say a very nice and clean place. Staff was pretty helpful.
Very bad service, too many items expired, bread is full of fungus and, prices are higher than all other grocery stores. Not recommended at all.
I got meat today, it was looking fine in the box. And thats how it looks when i came home. Very disappointing
This owner is trying to run a uhaul buisness out of this convince store. This was my review for the uhaul place.
Terrible service, when I called, the owner who I could barely understand, he told me he had trucks available to rent. So I took an Uber to go there and when I showed up the address was wrong. It takes you to the back of a shopping outlet which was dirty and looked like homeless were living back there next to the uhaul trucks parked back there. It's not even a real uhaul place. It's a ghetto overpriced indian convince store who told me after I showed up that he has no trucks available. Because of this my phone died and I had no clue where I was because I'm new to Florida, no way of charging my phone, no way to get to my classes which was the whole reason I was getting a truck because I can't not have transportation to and from my classes that I was going to be late to now because he lied to me over the phone saying there was trucks available when there was not, as well as I had no way to order another uber back home because my phone was dead. He wouldn't help me out so I had to walk to the apartment complex next to the uhaul place to ask for a charger to charge my phone so I could order an Uber to my class. This could have easily been prevented if he told me I could have went to the uhaul website or by him not lying to me telling me there was no trucks available. I don't have the time or money to be waisting on Ubers going back and forth when I can't even rent a truck from him.
100% go to a real uhaul dealer, not some Indian guy that doesn't care about the customer.
A good neighbourhood halal food grocery n essentials place. V co operative family oriented business from Pakistañ origin.
I have been going to this place primarily for goat meat for last few years. The quality used to be ok but had terrible experience for last 2 times (within last 4 weeks). The meat literally had "No Taste". I have never tasted such goat meat in my entire life. More than cost of meat, we put huge effort in going through the cooking process and to end up with something which you have to trash is terribly disappointing. I also called the owner of the shop to look into what has gone wrong but did not recieve any response back. Anyways, after 2 straight terrible experience, it would be difficult for me to give a third try.
Good prices and quality products. Complete range of Indian, pakistani and Bangladeshi products. Friendly people and clean store. Perfect for home groceries. Certified Halal.
I have bought meat from here for the past year or so. I went in the beginning of Ramadan to stock up for this upcoming blessed month. The red meat we purchased recently turned out to have a weird smell we never smelled or tasted before. Turns out the meat is most likely expired. I had to dump $100 worth of red meat in the trash not taking a chance at getting me or my family sick especially during Covid times. We kept the chicken as it was okay and didn’t want to waste anymore food. This place is horrible and their customer service is terrible! Once you purchase and walk out the door, it doesn’t become their problem anymore. I don’t recommend shopping here. I am starting to wonder if they truly sell halal meat- I almost want to say the goat was slaughtered sick or truly sold to us expired. Also my son in law always gets double charged here all the time because they won’t fix their machine.
When the Salam is given it should always be given back the same or even better. Never judge a book by its cover because you never know their story, you never know who they really may be. You never know their jihadulnafs nor their status in the eyes of Allah.
I loved the choice of frozen food they had from turkey bacon, hamburgers, chicken patties, beef patties food that I ate as a kid.
The fresh meat, wings, breast, whole chickens, all of that was good also.
For those looking for face masks (10 for 14.99) and hand sanitizer please support this local business.
I have been shopping at this place for about a couple months now. I went shopping 3 days ago for $180.12 during Ramadan. Their machine didn't go through apparently this first time using my chip so he asked me to swipe it again. I was double charged the amount twice since both transactions went through. I have my receipt with me and the evidence of my bank statement using a screenshot. I go back talk to them yesterday, I was asked to come back when the owners are present so I come back today and I was given a dead end answer with them and to deal with my bank (meaning I should dispute the transaction). I spoke with the same young man that charged me only 3 days prior. I will not be shopping here again because that is the worst customer service. My brother in law was charged the double amount multiple times from this exact same location as well. No one wants to waste their like this. They would fit the description of stealing money from customers. Apna Bazaar is way better place with fresh meat/ products and way better customer service- I recommend going there and I am sure Kissimmee has more options as well.
Excellent market with friendly staff and wide variety of Indian and Pakistani grocery items available as well as fresh halal meat.
Wonderful place and wonderful staff. I am definitely coming back in the future. Very good prices too.
