What a beautiful experience at this club. They recently changed their menu, and everything was fabulous. I loved the portobello mushroom salad. I would have eaten 6 servings. Fantastic people and an ambient experience.

Great view, fantastic service, wonderful food. The chocolate chip macaroon cookies are to die for!

Although I am not a member of this club, my son works here. He told me it is an awesome place to work, the food is amazing and the people he works worth are very kind.

I have been a member at HHYC for 6+ years and their service has gone done hill steadily since I joined. I had had four different boats dry racked here and have a lot of experience dealing with marine operations. Here are the reasons why you should absolutely NOT dry rack a boat there.

1) their forklifts are constantly tearing up boats because they fail to properly maintain their forklifts and work rack bunks. On numerous occasions I have found out that the hull of my boat was deeply gouged by screws and nailing sticking out of their bunks or by the forklifts. Recently, the forklift destroyed my trim tab because on of the arms of the forklift had exposed, metal brackets. I was told by the forklift operator that they were aware of the problem but the arm cover is back ordered. Why did they continue to use this forklift when dealing with very expensive assets?
2) dock hands are not always available to assist at the dock. On one occasion, there was wind and current and instead of assisting me with a pole or line, they watched me crack into the dock.
3) their floating docks are designed for large boats. I had a low freeboard boat and it gets trapped under the floating dock, at times. Worse yet, their wheel at the corner of one dock was too low and my boat banged into the corner metal bracket, causing damage. This was the #2 situation above.
4) the dock hands have very little training. Even things like tying a cleat hitch are a struggle. I left my boat out overnight and luckily I checked on it in the evening. They lines were loosely wrapped around a cleat. Unbelievable.
5) their dock hands have become complacent and are more concerned about lunch and sitting in golf carts than helping members. When you need a dockhand they are either at lunch, hiding in the barn or are sitting in golf carts waiting to valet non-existent customers.
6) their electric pedestals have always been faulty and their dock hands don’t double check to see if your boat is actually on a charge. Ten times or more I have had to “check on the boat” and either move the power cord, change pedestals or flip the GFCI. The docks hands have been asked many times to make sure the charger lights are on, but they don’t seem to get it.

I know dockage is scarce in Naples but if you care about your boat and want to maximize your time on the water (and not dealing with HHYC induced problems) I would like elsewhere.

This is an honest, sincere review so please take it as such.

Gorgeous operation right by the botanical gardens. Massive storage facility, and great employees who really care about their customers. If you can afford it, if recommend it!
