We recently stayed at the newly renovated Hampton Inn in Deerfield Beach. We cannot recommend this hotel enough to potential clients, friends and family.

The hotel is conveniently located near a Tri-Rail station, which can get you as far north as West Palm Beach or as far south as Miami. It is about a 30-min drive from the FLL airport, but it's worth it if you are looking for a more peaceful stay. It's close to the Sawgrass Expressway, yet the Turnpike is a little farther away.

The beach is also a 10- or 15-minute drive east, depending on traffic. Deerfield is a great beach town, and has plenty of restaurants off A1A for individuals and families. Plenty of parking too if you want to go to the pier for a day at the beach.

It's also a few minutes from Boca Raton, so you have quick access to high-class shopping and great restaurants in that area. Coconut Creek Casino is closer than the Hard Rock, and you have access to grocery and big box stores within a few miles from the hotel.

But let's talk about the hotel. It's tucked between a couple of office buildings so it's quiet at night and not right off the interstate. The pool has high fences and a nice serenity garden in the back. The staff is friendly, snacks are available to purchase, and the hotel offers a pretty decent continental breakfast and round-the-clock coffee and tea bar.

But the rooms are fantastic. I got to stay in a small suite with a king-size bed and sectional sleeper sofa. It had the feel of a mini apartment and had a nice relaxing atmosphere.

So book your next stay here and ask for Robert! He's the friendly guy at the front desk who is eager to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

Nicely upgraded rooms. Conveniently located close to highway and necessities. No complaints.

Overall great experience at the hotel. My husband and I went to South Florida for the weekend and stayed here. The room was clean and was very large in size. We called on our way, and spoke with Robert to see if we could check in early, as we were in the area much earlier than we thought we would be. He did a great job accommodating us.

The reason for the 4 stars, is that the bed in Suite 401 was so hard, that it felt like we were sleeping on the floor (and honestly neither of us slept most of the night), also although there was a wide array of food, it was very bland.

Amazing staff, beautiful rooms, wonderful services. The breakfast buffet was out of this world! Will always recommend.

This is generally a really good basic hotel in a location that makes the Miami metro very accessible. We stayed for three days and had only pleasant interactions with all of the staff. The pool looked really nice, and the breakfast was basic but good. We really liked how easy it was to get to the beach area, 95, and the Tri-Rail station. The only issue is that the room needed to be vacuumed a little better.

Outstanding remodel. Everything is like new. The breakfast people and cleaning crew seemed to be a little short handed. All staff was super nice.

From clean, comfortable room to gracious staff and good breakfast this was a great stay on Christmas Eve. Our room overlooked the pool with its Roman columns. The bathroom was updated. At the breakfast buffet, there were biscuits and sausage gravy, scrambled eggs, turkey sausage links, a waffle maker with batter and syrup, oatmeal, bagels and a toaster, pastries, juices and good coffee with half and half and Coffeemate creamer cups. Fresh bananas and Chobani Greek yogurt cups were healthier breakfast options offered. The scrambled eggs tasted better than usual.

All staff on site were pleasant and professional in demeanor. We’d like to stay here again.

Nice hotel. Pool was amazing and my kids loved all of the lizards roaming about! The lady at the front desk during check in was wonderful, I forgot her name. Breakfast was ok, I have had better at other Hampton Inns. Lobby restroom was disgusting.

Great location, good free breakfast. Usually use Airbnb's but this hotel met all expectations and more. Very satisfied and will use again when in the area.

Rooms were clean, just a little outdated looking. Staff was nice and quickly changed our room when the toilet wouldn't flush and couldn't be fixed. Check in/out fast and easy. Had to put a card on file for " incidentals" and was immediately charged $25.00. I bought a $3.00 Coke that was additionally charged to the card. Checked out on Sunday and still no sign of my $25.00 being reimbursed. Funds holding on my card were finally released. It shouldn't have taken days to accomplish this. Annoying having to pursue this.

This place was fantastic to stay in. We booked last minute and I am so glad we chose this one. Rooms are comfortable, clean, and spacious. Every single one of the staff was so friendly and helpful. If I ever end up in the area again, I will absolutely stay here given the opportunity.

Many thanks to Dee at the front desk who helped us with an early check-in to a suite on the main floor with our diamond status.
The suite is clean and comfortable with a private living room, kitchen area, bedroom and private bathroom.
We are here for two nights staycation over President's Day weekend following a very exhausting week cleaning out our Aunt's estate.
The pool is absolutely divine. Place to relax and soak in the sunshine.
Perfect place to get some R&R
Cheers!

If you've stayed at other hotels in the Hilton chain, in this case the hotels in the Hampton Inn line, elsewhere, you'll be a little disappointed.
Compared to others, most notably the Hampton Inn in Hallandale, the one in Boca Raton is well aged and in urgent need of modernization.
Breakfast is a little different and less complete compared to hotels of the same Hampton Inn line.
Service at reception was friendly and attentive.

Initially when my wife and I retired to the room for the evening and attempted to shower there was no shower curtain. After receiving one from the front desk and hanging it up it was torn but I was in no mood to retrieve another. After finishing I attempted to hang the towel up only to find the hook dangling, unable to support my towel. Additionally there was makeup (or mold I’m unsure) along the shower walls. Lastly, and the most disturbing thing was finding mold growing in the shower, under the soap holder, which was clearly visible. As someone who has preferred Hilton over Marriott and other hotels this was a sobering reminder of how far the service industry has fallen. Hilton took pride in their establishments but this one is far from the standard I’m used to.

I stayed here originally for 2 nights this past week. On arrival, the staff members were fantastic. I didn't catch any names but they were very polite and pleasant. I stayed in one of the King bed suites. As mentioned in another review, the rooms are very dated. Lots of brown and turquoise patterns that just don't seem to mesh real well. As I walked in, the room had a smell to it that I'm still not quite able to place. It was clean, but there was another smell mixed in with the clean. The bathroom was a bit underwhelming, the shower had a curtain and is something you could find in any average American house, although the water pressure was great. The toilet handle was broken, the decorative part itself, it still worked properly. Elsewhere in the room I did find that one of the outlets in the wall next to the bed didn't work, though there were backups in the bases of the nightstand lights.

The next morning I mentioned the toilet issue and the wall outlet problem to the front desk and they were immediately apologetic and took $50 off my total. I was charged again, but I believe that's more a bank issue and not a problem with the hotel, as I checked several times with the front desk to confirm they didn't charge me again. Beds were so-so, and lots of creaking every time you moved. Maintenance did come in sometime while I was gone and fixed the toilet handle which was appreciated.

Continental breakfast was your typical fare that you see at hotels all over, there was always free coffee in the lobby at all hours. They do offer fresh baked cookies every evening but I wasn't there to check them out.

My checkout day everything was fine, but after my flight was canceled while at the airport I was scrambling for another place to stay. I called them back and was able to get another room and they were able to accommodate late checkout on Sunday til 1pm. The second room had no odd smell, same dated decor. Outlets worked as they should. During the night though I woke up noticing a smell I could only describe as a "hot iron" or when dust sits on a hot surface. I checked around the room searching for the source and best I can tell it was coming from the air conditioning unit, which was alternating blowing hot and cold air.

Overall, the stay wasn't bad, and in a pinch I'd stay here again, but otherwise I'd probably look elsewhere as it seemed a bit underwhelming. Can't say anything about the pool as it was overcast and raining the days I was there.
