Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa reviews
16Excellent facility. Professional, clean. Nina did a wonderful job on working out the kinks in my back And neck from sitting too long at the computer for work. I will definitely be going back!
Wanda and Michael are so far my fave therapists! Love hand and stone! Amazing staff! Practicing great covid safety as well!
My first massage when they opened was great.then there was heavy solicitation to join the Monthly Membership. They opened at 9: 00 per website today. Left a message for an appointment at 8: 45 and when it went to voicemail again at 10: 30; I informed then I would take my business elsewhere. Was glad to have them in Mt. Dora, now it really doesn’t matter. Thanks!
With all that is troubling the world now a days, this spa and it's attendants made me feel at ease and forgot all problems. I will be showing up monthly to this incredible establishment. If a get away is what you need, a get away is what you will get. (They need to give wine or champagne while you wait). Love that Mount Dora Hand and Stone.
Loved my first experience with Hand and Stone. I needed a stress relieving massage and they sure delivered!
Kelly was wonderful, attentive and made every effort so I could enjoy my massage. The place is lovely, clean and very conducive to relaxation. Kudos also to the front desk staff which handled an appt snafu seamlessly
Very relaxing massage. Crystal was professional, thorough, and attentive to areas I asked her to focus on. I would recommend Hand and Stone Mount Dora. (Mask was required and no facial massage due to COVID 19)
Nice and clean. Not what I would call a "spa" atmosphere. Friendly staff. No complaints there. I had a facial with microderm. Didn't do anything wrong, just didn't do anything that would make me want to go back. No eye area massage, lymph drainage, decolete.nothing that makes it a superb experience. I've had the best "basic" at Rescue Spa, so maybe I've been spoiled. I didn't leave this experience feeling relaxed.left feeling the same as when I went in. Adequate, but not great. Didn't feel any passion from my esthetician. Again, friendly and clean, but blah.
Some would say that because this was my first professional massage and facial that I have nothing to compare it to, but that would be a huge lie. I believe that my massage therapist, Autumn and my esthetician, Krystle EXCEL at what they do. When I arrived at the spa, the first thing that caught my attention was how clean it was and how the front desk was behind a piece of plexi-glass and wearing a mask. This part would not typically be in my review but due to the current nature of the world we live in, that is extremely important and they are handling it extremely well. After filling out my forms and returning them to the front desk, I was immediately greeted by Autumn who was super warm and friendly. The massage was everything I knew I needed and more. Autumn was kind and took care of the spots that needed MUCH attention. I will most definintely recommend her and return to her for additional massages. After the most relaxing hour of my life, I threw on a comfy robe and slippers and met Krystle for my facial. Krystle was very thorough in the facial process, she provided great detail of what she was doing to my face (as I had no idea) and what the benefits of each item/cream/serum she placed on my face. She was educated on her craft and now my goal in life is to be able to visit both Autumn and Krystle on a regular basis. While I work on achieving that goal, I will recommend both Autumn and Krystle and the Hand and Stone Mount Dora team to anyone looking for a day of relaxation, rehabilitation of stressed muscles and pampering.
It was my first professional massage. I had a great experience. The staff was friendly, knowledgable and the facility very clean and welcoming. Great service for the price. Highly recommend! (ask for Crystal:) )
Be sure to request DeeDee. She gives the best massage! Enjoy the coconut water when you’re finished.
Went in because of chronic pain in my back. My therapist was Kelly for deep tissue. She was good and went super deep. I expected soreness and I was of course but as it’s wearing off I noticed my nerve pain had greatly decreased. Thank u Kelly it’s first real relief I’ve had in the last couple of YEARS.
Very possibly the best massage I've ever had! Stacy was awesome! Already recommended him to my daughter!
The masseur did a great job of working out my sore neck and shoulder. I know the tightness went a away much quicker after the deep tissue massage than if I had just left it alone.
Little disappointed. My appt was for 10am. I got there right at 10am I had some paperwork to fill out. The massage finally started at 10: 10ish, and she told me I was finished and I looked at the clock and it was 10: 50. I paid for an hour massage and I only got a 40 (or less) minute massage.
The lady did an excellent job with the massage, but sucks that I paid for an hour massage but did not get that.
Dry professional staff. Extremely organized and well appointed. Great place for a massage. Will certainly return.
