I had a wonderful experience at Hand & Stone the staff was very knowledgeable and pointed me in the right direction. Last year I was involved in 2 car accidents both not my fault and I have been going to chiropractor twice a week for over a year, I had several injection shots in my neck and lower back and my whole body is just on fire constantly and I’m uncomfortable daily so I shared this information and Jenna gave me my first 1 hr massage and was able to loosen up the knots in my neck and shoulders. We did hot and cold stone treatment however the cold stones were a little chilly haha so we focused more on hot stones and I can tell this will give me relief. Just wanted to thank Jenna and the team I already booked my second appointment and got my membership. Great atmosphere great energy give them a shout keep it up Jenna!

Such a relaxing atmosphere that I accidently put my dress back on backwards after services one day. They were so polite and didn't say anything, I didn't notice til I got to my car

I had a massage scheduled for 8: 30 pm March 20. I called at 7: 30 pm just to verify it was the correct time and not 8 pm. The lady said they had left me a message Mar 13th that it has to be rescheduled. I never got a call from them. She said I could come in and have a facial! I would have driven 1/2 hr to their location and they would have offered me a facial instead of a massage! I have an email from them March 18th reminding me of my MASSAGE today March 20 at 8: 30 pm. If they had called me on the 13th which I show they didn't why would I have gotten a reminder of my original appointment on the 20th? !

Extremely disappointed with our couples massage for my husband's birthday! Definitely not worth what we paid! Both therapists seemed very inexperienced. They spent more time digging their knuckles into our muscles then actually giving a nice relaxing massage. We both voiced our issues but we were ignored. We ask that no oil be put on our face or in our hair but we got smothered from head to toe anyway. We had to use the bed sheets to dry off afterward due to no towels being left for us. The front desk didn't seem concerned at all about our disappointment. We left feeling tense & agitated at the whole experience. We had a membership a few years ago but we could never get the same therapists twice. We were told they no longer worked there when we tried to book an appointment. We've given this place many chances but this is definitely the last. We'll never return here for any services.

I believed my mom loved the place, but when COVID-19 came in March 2020 whenever all appointments got canceled for some reason. They haven't contacted her and stuff in almost 3 years so she will never use it again.

I am a member and go for monthly massages ‍️ The massage I had on Thursday was out of this world. The therapist did an Awesome job! I am so excited for my next appointment

I made an appointment for a facial and massage. I was called the day before and told the person doing my facial no longer worked there and did I want to reschedule. We agreed on the next day at 1100. She repeated it back and confirmed it. I show up for my appointment and not only do they not have me in the system, they make no effort to figure out what happened and I was made to feel like I didn’t know what I was talking about. I asked that they call to find out what the lady might have done and that maybe she put it in under the wrong name because there was another Julie scheduled for 1100 facial but no efforts were made. They made the error and no effort was made to remedy it, just “ do I want to reschedule? ”

I choose hand and stone over massage envy. However, I’ve called at different times and multiple times and front desk doesn’t answer. There’s always two people at the front when I go so not sure why this is. Also, they used to have coconut water up front, I looked forward to this before and after my massage. But the last visit I was there they didn’t have. I’m pretty disappointed about this. It’s one of the things that sets HS apart. Starr is really good at deep tissue massage. Her pressure was on point! And the hours are versatile. But with some of the recent changes I am not sure I’ll continue coming here without gift card for the prices.wish I could give 3.5 star not 4

Will never use this place again!
I have had a membership with this location for years and had to cancel for some unforeseen circumstances (with full intention on resigning back up! Btw) after I canceled I had two massages left and the lady at the counter advised me I had one year to use my massages. Fast forward to today I have been trying to book a couples massage for my husband and I’s anniversary with no luck on getting an appt for a couple of weeks. Tried to use the San Jose location and at that point I was told I didn’t have any massages and that my massages were expired after 90 days! First my last payment to them was July 30 so it hasn’t even been 90 days, I have called numerous times to speak with the manager with no return call from Brittany. I have gotten so much different misleading information with two of he girls telling me they have “bad Vision” and can’t see the dates? I have gotten three different dates I have canceled and three different policy information on how long they stay good for. Regardless, I PAID FOR THOSE MASSAGES and super messed up they just steal your money: NOT COOL!

Ms. Star at Fleming Island location is INCREDIBLE! Her deep tissue massage is A+ world class!

I did a Himalayan salt massage with Michiko last night and she was so amazing. I prefer firm and she did a wonderful job and really worked on the discussed areas that really bother me during work. I highly recommend Ms.michiko!

I've been going to hand and stone for over a year now getting facials and massages. They have been the best. I dont always get the same person every time I go but everyone I have seen so far has always been polite, very nice and professional. Definitely recommend.

I got a gift card for a massage here recently and decided to go and it was amazing! Very relaxing and my service provider was very experienced and great at her job!

I am a member at the Fleming Island hand stone location. I have never had any issues as far as a therapist canceling 15 minutes during the session. I have it noted in my chart that I get firm pressure and I don’t know if I offended her by telling her that. Funny thing is when I told her that the pressure that she was applying was a good pressure she continued to massage for five minutes and then randomly said give me one minute so I waited for six minutes and then another person came in and told me that they weren’t able to finish my massage after I already have all these lotion and oil all over me and I took off work early just to make this appointment time. To be honest it seemed as if the only reason that she’s Didn’t do my massages because I want mine right like I get it every month because I don’t wanna lay there and get a massage and it not be providing any relief. I was very professional I said yes ma’am in response to everything that I spoke to her about I told her how I would like her to apply pressure to my back. So when I get to the front desk i’m telling the front desk that I understand if there was a medical issue and that she was not able to finish a massage but if that was not the case if she could tell me if there was something that I did wrong and they won’t tell me anything. So unfortunately I’m canceling my membership because I think it’s really unprofessional and also inconvenient for the patients to not even be able to be given a valid reason on why their appointment was canceled during the massage my family has been coming here for years very disappointing. But if you do decide to come here Tara is the best they have. She is also the most professional massage therapist that they have and she’s the most experienced in my opinion because I’ve had it a lot of massages.
