Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa, Fort Lauderdale FL

I went to Hand And Stone with some friends. I had enough packages for them to use for a hour and a half massage with an upgrade. Everything was set in advance for the services. When when we left my friends told me that there was no upgrade whatsoever. I called them they told me that they were not entitled to an upgrade. When I asked the front desk woman if two packages cover the upgrade, she said oh yes and I said, so why didn’t they get an upgrade? Oh, I’m not sure why the massage person did not give them the upgrade. My girl friend asked the massage person and she told her that it was not part of the package she had. They did not even offer to give me a partial refund for the second package they used.

Experience. Couldn’t find a good masseuse after a couple appointments. Cancelled membership due to moving to south Florida and using this location.

Excellent dermal infusion (like a hydrafacial) by Kristen. Super knowledgeable and experienced Esthetician. Am very pleased by the results as this was my first hydrafacial! Cleansed, exfoliated and brightened my aging skin. Will book with her again! Highly recommend her and this spa.

WORST EVER! Did one 1/2 of left arm.didn't touch the right at all.
Did ONE foot not the other.
Felt like she had not idea what she was doing, but was very nice.
I will not be back.

This is the best massage place in entire South Florida. The place is amazing, my massaging Dexter is a magician and help me with my back issues. Highly recommend to buy the membership as you will get the great price and amazing service.

Shannon is amazing and always so helpful when there is an issue. Judith is great at massage and really takes the time to help on the areas you need.

Had an amazing facial yesterday with Lana, she is incredible. My skin looks and feels amazing, and she did the most relaxing neck and shoulder massage as well. She’s super knowledgeable about skincare and gave me great tips, highly recommend. I also come here every month for massages with Andrea who is incredible as well, definitely go see her if you have muscle tension. She is an angel. I’ll be adding monthly facials with Lana as well. This location is super friendly, everyone who works here is lovely, and they just create the most relaxing atmosphere. The membership is very reasonably priced too. Can’t recommend enough!

The therapist was amazing but oh my some guy who works there was in the hallway or wherever he was, was so loud and very disturbing.

Went in for a facial. Was aggressively roped into a membership with a $70 initiation fee that day. Days later I had a horrible reaction, skin took weeks to recover and had to see a dermatologist. I called recently to ask for membership cancellation and refund of the initiation fee since it ruined my skin… they said I “was not the first person to have a bad reaction but that being said unable to refund the fee and they cannot cancel my membership”…

Don’t go here! They do not care about their customers they only care about collecting your money.

I absolutely love this place! This is my 2nd time getting a facial and I will keep coming back. Loretta is so awesome! I didn't know what to expect and she made me feel comfortable, she's so very knowledgeable and explains every process throughout the facial and why. I absolutely love my results! ️

Dexter, my masseuse, is the reason I became a loyal customer. Been going there for about 1 year. He is probably the best masseuse there! I'm very active with my fitness and work out most times twice a day. The massages are awesome for aches and pains and for muscle soreness, and of course, relaxation. He is very good at what he does and I look forward to my appointments and feeling rejuvenated when I leave.

Loretta is the best! So knowledgeable and excited to share her knowledge and recommendations! I am a member and really love the staff here as well!? Everyone is very welcoming and friendly!

I've been here twice and both times were amazing. Sarah was incredibly helpful and helped me schedule a session with the perfect massage therapist. Annetta was very skilled and definitely listened to what I had to say because I felt rejuvenated both times. Although I could not afford a membership, Sarah took the time to tell me all the benefits that come with one (which I will be getting once I am able to). Thanks for the great service from beginning to end.

Great ambiance! Front staff is great! My massage was too delicate, I asked for firm. But clean and professional location.

I have a membership at the Fort Lauderdale location. My problem would be with management and the attitude problem.

I called a couple hours before my scheduled time to Cancel - (something I have never done) due to unforeseen circumstances. I was told that since I had never Canceled an appointment the day of that I wouldn't be charged 50% fee.
I was not aware of this and it was an issue, however the tone and the way that it was reiterated to me as a paying customer is unacceptable and very upsetting. I asked to speak with a manager, and was told "I am the manager", it was obvious that apparently this person had either just got a promotion, or was just a bit arrogant about having a manager's title.

I have referred family, friends, and coworkers to this this spa and this location specifically. But I will no longer moving forward.

I will not be going back, and will be canceling my membership.
There are too many other spas around to be dealing with unpleasant customer service.
