Good place for a great bite of food. Only gave 4 star because the catfish isn't real catfish, although it is good and taste like a cousin to the catfish it just isn't the real deal. Other than that great BBQ as well. The GRITS ARE BANGIN IDK what they do to them but they get 5 star all by themselves.

1st time visitor. Ordered the beef brisket sandwich with a side of baked beans.

The baked beans were tasteless. The brisket was flavorful and tender!

First time eating at Hanks. They're half pound burger was one of the best burgers I've ever had in my whole life. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that's never tried it.

Great place to eat for the entire family for any occasion! The staff is wonderful! I highly recommend this place for good southern food!

New to town and found this gem of a place. Staff that makes you feel like family and food so good it was like a hug from the Lord. Super friendly owner and catfish to die for. Brisket was juicy and the collards amazing! Seriously the best food I’ve had in a very long time.

The wings, pulled pork & gator bites were amazing. My family and I are very pleased and full. I would recommend this place to everyone. Hate that I missed the okra and ribs. Maybe next time!

This place was an absolute winner. Top pick for all of my food adventures while I was visiting Tampa.

The employees were freaking amazing and helped me sort through their many menu options.

The food. Honey the food is sooo good. The ribs basically fall off the bone. The Catfish was fried perfectly and full of flavor without being salty. We almost ate everything before I could snap a proper photo.

We ordered a catering meal. Hank’s was amazing. The food was great& serving sizes were on point. Staff was super friendly. We will definitely order again for our office!

Pulled pork sandwich was great and the brisket sandwich tasted good but a bit dry. Collard greens and green beans on the side were excellent. But the hushpuppies were just average.

Just got back from eating at Hanks bbq. Was very disappointed. Got the pulled pork platter and they got my order wrong and pork was dry. Ordered fried green tomatoes and he didn’t even put my order in for them. So went back up there to pay for the tomatoes and he charged me 4.84 don’t know where he got that price from because they are 7 dollars. When they brought them out it was 3 tomatoes and they were not good. Small portions and over priced. Will not go back. And will not recommend.

The service was excellent, the food was good I most definitely will be eating there again, the atmosphere takes you back in time like all the antiques and the old countryBarn feeling

This place was surprisingly good! It looks nondescript but the food was delicious and plenty of it! I love fried cat fish and this was the best I’ve had. None of the fried items were greasy. My wife loved the Cole slaw. Definitely will be back!

Best brisket I ever had.catfish is awesome collard greens yum yum.and the list goes on and on excellent food, excellent service, great dine in ambiance, I make it a point to eat there at least once a week sometimes more the food is just so good

The catfish was the best thing on the plate, followed by the collared greens. A bit of hot sauce definitely kicked both up to a level they should be on! The ribs were very dry, but the sauce helped a bit. Something was absolutely wrong w the mac and cheese. I don't understand how you could go wrong w that! Maybe they might get another review ‍️
