Happy Bays Car Wash, Sanford FL

This review pertains to the automatic touchless car wash only at Happy Bays as I did not use any of the self-wash bays. I'm always on the hunt for a good touchless car wash as they seem to be just about as extinct as as the Dodo bird. Happy Bays has a fantastic touchless automatic car wash, which in my opinion is so much better than any other touchless car wash that I have visited. My only gripe and complaint is that the $10 wash is advertised as containing an undercarriage wash but that is entirely false advertising as there are absolutely no undercarriage sprayers in the automatic car wash bays period! This car wash shall receive 4/5 stars as a result of this misleading advertising.

Immediately after going through the car wash, I ran a finger along my driver side door. It was black, so I used my whole hand and ended up with it being solid black. A tissue had the same results. I called the company and got a message saying the mailbox was full. Tried two more times and left messages on Brittany’s answering machine asking for a call back. I really try to give companies a chance to make things right, but no response. I can’t post pictures here, but the stuff that I rubbed off of my car was not there before the car wash. Like a very fine soot.

I paid $10 for a car wash and nothing happened. So I tried again for a $6 wash and the wash said drive thru and when I did No water, soap, or anything happened. I called the number on the machine and it keeps going to Britneys voice-mail which is full. I WILL NOT COME BACK & tell everyone not to come here unless I get my money back!

I just put $10 on my own hard-earned money and it took my money and didn't give me a code to have a car wash done

Auto wash has two lanes. One for credit card only and the other for cash only. Lowest car wash option is $5 as I post this review. I like this because it cleans the top of my sunroof better than most car washes. And their triple wax shine option is amazing when the sun shines on it.

I would highly suggest going to another carwash. I paid $8 for a car wash and nothing happened. No water, soap, nothing happened. I called the number and Britneys voice-mail is full. I kept trying and have left 2 messages for a refund. That was 2 weeks ago, still nothing. I ended up paying another car wash since Brittney from Happy Bays won't return my calls. Frustrating!

HORRIBLE, no pressure, no soap, no wax, no pre wash fluid, broken equipment. Change machine and soap brush after 1-2min delay are the only 2 things that worked. Waste of 20 bucks. Youd be better off with a super soaker and a bottle of dish soap

It's a do it yourself hand wash operation. The operation instructions are clear and simple to read. There's also an area to vacuum and dispose of your trash. But most of all the price is right!

I just put $10 in machine at happy bays car wash, and machine didn't work, I called the phone number 4 times and it doesn't work, this place is a rip off

Don't waste your money. The automatic drive thru bays do nothing. We didn't even see any soap sprayed on our vehicle. When we pulled out of the bay, all of the dirt was still there. Definitely a waste of time and money.

I went here to wash and vacuum my car. They have a machine to pay by card and I tried to use it several times. I would swipe and the machine would act like it was processing and then go back to the main screen. I then used the quarters in my car to pay. As I left, I was charged on my card. I called them several times and left several voicemails with the situation and my contact info. I was very polite in my voicemails and simply asked if someone could call me back. Never got a call and never got my refund. I will be using another car wash next time.

Stay away from here, machine takes your money & then you’ll have the groupies that hangout over there arguing with you claiming it didn’t take your money when you’re clearly showing the charges & NOT pending. Don’t waste your time & save yourself from being robbed. Trash establishment.

Great place to lose your money.

Inserted $10 and only got my quarters. These Thieves straight up steal your money. Avoid at all costs. Not a single person on site to help or even file a claim, for missing or miscounted money.

How can we leave a voicemail if the mailbox is full? Being that your mailbox is full will you even CHECK the message? I recently came from Orlando to get a car wash because I was in the area and used the machine closer to the right and the machine took my money after I tried to cancel/refund it only gave me. 75 cents back. I tried getting a platinum wash but I wasn’t able due to this and would like someone to reach out about my funds. Thank you.

It's the cutest self car wash I've been to yet. Though, of course it's filthy. I wish they had easier way of paying with card.
