Happy kids Pediatric Clinic of Broward, Margate FL

I did not have a good experience for a few reasons. I felt judged over many questions I asked and, as a first time mom, I was looking for guidance. A few times I called during business hours with no answer. When I was called back, they could't find my daughters appointment and then found after a few minutes. I asked if they had received the records from my daughters former pediatrician and was put on hold for more than 10 minutes until I hung up. There was no call back. I was going to stick it out but have decided to find an alternative pediatrician.

I have been going since my baby was born more than a year ago. She is the best pediatrician, always on call and super loving with babies. Just ignore the girl who left 1 star, Carmen Mejía is a 5 star pediatrician… she speaks Spanish too.

We've been seeing Dr. Carmen Mejia-Carvajal for about 2 months now. Her services have been exceptional. I've never felt more confident and comfortable in a health care provider. She shows sincerity and genuine concern about my son and that truly is appreciated. She is very reliable as she returns calls, even after hours, within the hour. She makes each visit pleasant and informative. The way she communicates with me as a mom and my son is extremely attentive to both of our needs and is quite comforting. She treats us on a personal level rather than just feeling like another patient in a doctor's office. Her knowledge is extensive and her office is clean. Her staff is very pleasant as well. Her nurse Johnte is one of the most sweetest nurses I've met. She fits very well in pediatrics and is very helpful. This is the first time I feel like I enjoy and look forward to going to the doctors.

I wish I could give Happy Kids Pediatrics more than 5 stars because they deserve it. If you're looking for an amazing pediatrician with knowledge and sincerity and brings to the visit comfort and results, she's the one! Thank you and look forward to more visits in the time to come.

I can't stand when doctors automatically want to send patients to see about surgeons instead of figuring out the root of the problem and going from there. Not fond of the the pediatrician here at all.

Dr. Mejia-Carvajal and her staff are extremely sweet and caring. I've been taking my newborn here and she is absolutely wonderful. She listened to my concerns and addressed them appropriately. The office is very clean and comfortable as well.

I wish I could give this Doctor 10 stars! Dr. Mejia's office is extremely clean and comfy! When I came in I was so pleased and not to mention how friendly and welcoming her medical assistant is. My daughter was so happy and not to mention amazed by how vibrant the office is. Dr. Mejia is very educated and will answer just about any question you have. She was really gentle with my daughter and surprisingly, she didnt even cry. I will never switch and I'm excited to see Dr. Mejia and her staff until my baby is all grown up!

Very clean and professional but also very loving environment. My son has been here with Dr. Mejia for almost 2 years now and she's also proving care to my daughter since birth. Anything I'm worried about she responds quick even after hours. Dr. Mejia makes sure she explains everything to the best of our understanding. I would highly recommend her you'll never be disappointed.

As new parents, my fiance' and I interviewed a few pediatricians. When we met Dr. Mejia, we knew she was the one! Now that my daughter is almost 3 months old and I have gotten to know her and the staff a little better, I'm pleased with my choice. I have many questions as a new mom and Dr. Mejia listens, takes her time, and answers all of my questions. Also, she takes her own after hour calls so I don't have to go through a call center. I am a Registered Nurse and I'm very picky with my choices of healthcare providers. I am 100 percent pleased and I'm excited to get to know Dr. Mejia better over the next 18 years!

We love the doctor and nurse- they are very kind and gentle with our baby. The office is also so kid-friendly with fun toys, shows, and decorations to keep your baby happy and entertained while you wait.

I’m on vacations in fortlauderdale and i end up in this center thanks to my insurance I really recommend this place as the doctor treat and check my baby pretty well and gave us a correct treatment for him. The doctor speak Spanish fluently, thought I speak English with no problem but sometimes is better to listen the indications in your own language. Me gusto mucho esta clínica ya que vinimos a parar justo en nuestras vacaciones por recomendación del seguro. La doctora atendió muy bien a mi niño y dio un tratamiento acertado, cosa que no pasó con la doctora que llevamos a otro centro médico. Lo bueno es que en el centro se habla en español y francés además del inglés. Si bien nosotros hablamos de forma fluida el idioma inglés es muy distinto escuchar las indicaciones en tu propio idioma. Pretty nice place, very clean, the woman in the front desk was soooo helpful in gettin me paperwork for my kids school, and very patient, very gentle with my kids, the doctor was so good with all 3 of my kids! U would love it here u can’t find good people like this anywhere now a days! Love it here
