Harborside Grill, Tampa FL

Our first time here. So I could give this place at least a three star review as the intial service was ok and our breakfast was very good. But, a one star for a couple of reasons for dining in and giving us plastic utensils I think is a no- no! After we ate we couldn't find our server and finally gad to go to the counter to request. Then I noticed our bill was a whopping $5.00 more than the menu given us was stated for our meal. The server didn't mention that the menu has the wrong pricing. I asked the owner about this and his reply was " you know everything has gone up in price. Yes, I said, but then change your menus so as not to surprise your customers. Haven't had time was his reply. So yourbillis as stated. I said doesn't seem right. Your responsibility as an owner is to give your customer a menu with the correct pricing. Not even a sorry, just prices are up so we charge more.
$5.00 increase on two dishes seems a little much, but not to change your menu is irresponsible and certainly unfair to your customers. And maybe worse not to try and rectify the issue with a customer. Hopefully, if you see this as I do you won't want to visit this establishment.

I always walk in to a greeting statement saying “Hello Sugar Lips” not sure how it came about but I highly recommend this place. It’s like you know everyone like you did in High School. They talk crab about everything so enjoy. Oh and the food is good too. The service is always amazing. Now wait It really depends on there attitude for the kind of service you will receive. I leave with the attitude that I’m looking forward to retuning for more abuse. I give this place All Five Stars because they earn it everyday.

Could not get into the establishment to try food. Building isn't up to code for Ada. There is not a ramp.

Would be nice if handicap access were possible. Husband and I wanted to have breakfast there and were unable to enter. A seating area in front or something, anything would be nice. A picnic table, chair and menu maybe.caused much sadness for us.

Great, home cooked meal! What a wonderful spot to stop for a quick, satisfying breakfast or lunch. The food is amazing and the staff is attentive and personable. I meant to take a good photo of the food, but once I had a bite it was too late.so clean plates are all I have to share visually.

Delicious food for a reasonable price. The owner Louis is great, he offered us samples of his picadillo and it was the best I've ever had. He gets there every morning at 4am to begin cooking and makes all his food from from scratch. Must try the devil crabs and crab empanadas, they're out of this world!

The sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich on Cuban bread is always great! Always good service.

Great lunch spot for authentic Cuban food. Be sure to check the board for daily specials! Very friendly staff, very good food.

Stop every time we are in Tampa. Go for the deviled crab. Best I have found in years. Place is packed, but they are nice and get you out quickly. Good sandwiches and will try breakfast soon.

Best food in Tampa. Was there 3 weeks for work, the food and hospitity here got me threw the weeks. Always loomed forward to eating here. Nothing comes close to it in Tampa. Yes the Cornbread is to die for!

Stop there and grab their amazing breakfast sandwiches for me and wife omw from work in the mornings.

Love the people they talk to you treat you like family and funny signs to read while waiting on your food

I really do not like posting negative reviews but, we were looking forward to a nice meal by the water, unfortunately that wasn’t the case. My husband ordered a steak, medium, he knew immediately that it was over cooked. Being a guy who doesn’t complain or send his meal back he asked for steak sauce, so that he could eat it. He only ate half of it. I had the sea scallops, they were good, but the cole slaw was warm. The waitress came over once, at the end of the meal to ask how it was. We did express our disappointment in a very nice way. She left and came back with the check. In my opinion, the manager should have come to our table.

The food is tasty and the service is wonderful. Now compared to others places with better location and better ornamented inside and outside (the place needs a renovation urgently!) I found it more expensive than Florida Bakery wich is in a better location. I'm surprised the owner allow bring your child to work and interact with customers

Plates were paper, utensils were plastic, homefries were not done. Overall a bad experience.

Good breakfast, great service! This was a random choice and turned out to be an enjoyable experience.

BEST GRILLED FISH IN TAMPA BAY. So far.
It comes out the gate with a bed of yellow rice. Also PLEASE get ANY of their soups. They are amazing! Very hospitable people and a family owned establishment like this deserves the best.

Friendly welcoming environment. A lot of regular customers. Some might be turned off by the older decor, but the food is good!
