Discrimination at it's finest. It's such a shame the people the county are allowing to run these so called affordable housing complexes, which are supposed to help all, not just pick and choose who you want. I applied for these apartments back in April when they first began accepting applications. I reached out numerous times to follow up with the application and was always told they would call when they had an update on them opening, Which initially was June 2023. Only to see they have opened this month and have not reached out to me with an update. Now, the office states they don't know where my application is, can't tell me if I was denied, or now they claim could have been placed on a wait-list for an apartment that had a whole empty building when I initially applied. This review is to bring awarenesses of how this affordable housing complex has found a way to scam people out of money and have such, inconsistent, incompetent, prejudice, uneducated staff working their offices! The developer needs to be investigated, as they have found a way to take a so called tax credit property, which is to be beneficial for the community, and scam who knows how many people.

Very unprofessional, misleading, racist, and rude staff. We sent in our application for a 3 bedroom in mid June and paid the 80 dollars. We even asked the lady prior if there would even be any 3 bedrooms available and she confirmed. The entire application process they never called us we had to always call just for them to tell us they were missing something. After the application was finally processed she tells us there are no 3 bedrooms available? (Mind you on their website as of right now it says they have 3 bedrooms available) The lady was very rude from the beginning when I came to the office to see them face to face she was unprofessional and seemed disinterested in helping us at all. Take this as a warning so you don’t waste your 80 dollars!

Racist admin staff (pro-hispanic). I called 5 times to enquire about the application process and was always kept on hold. I eventually asked someone to call on my behalf and they gave them all the info. So I sent the person to pick application forms on my behalf. I applied but since I had to show my face at their office I knew I would be denied but I still applied because I knew I qualified. Got a denial in my voicemail 3 weeks later! Typical housing discrimination that plagues the entire south florida.

Called to get info, the following is what I experienced: “hello”, as she laughed talking to someone else and hangs up on me. I call back, she’s still laughing, can barely hear me, I simply asked for info about leasing there, she tells me that you need 600 credit score, proof of 1 year of employment. I asked if they allow a “guarantor” for proof of employment/income since I am self employed & although I have income I don’t have an employer etc.and she said a what? I said guarantor her response was “um Idk, no wait no. ” I asked do you know what that is? She said no, hold on”. Ok no problem. But then another lady answers, also laughing with someone else as if I’m disturbing their party, she says “yea, ” what do you need” I mentioned that I just want to know if they accept a guarantor on the lease (as most leasing offices do) she replied with “a what? ” “What’s that”? She got mad and gave me attitude because I told her that they’re leasing apartments to people yet nobody there knows what a guarantor is. Either way, I’m glad they didn’t know and I’m glad they gave me an attitude and I’m glad they were very rude and very unprofessional because it saved me from getting into a possible year lease with such a careless and unprofessional so called company that with this type of “service” probably won’t care about any issues that may occur with maintenance or concerns throughout the lease term. This place need better management these people don't know what they are doing they're racist they pick and choose who they allow to live there don't waste your 80 dollars I know for a fact it takes at least two weeks to send your information with credit check and everything these people are thiefs and liars it took them one day to denied my application that's how I know they denied it themselves not that they sent it anywhere for you to actually be qualified they took my 80 dollars and denied it your credit alert you when it have been checked I received zero alert and they also lie about contacting your employer like you won't just ask your employer if they receive anything these people are thiefs especially that evon woman from the beginning of the application she was being hostile just to denied the application by the next day im reporting this place to the better business bureau

This place is racist and very unprofessional they only accept Hispanics and they are liars a lady with blonde hair was such an disappointment.

Dont bother applying unless you are hispanic. If you dont speak spanish they give you the wrong information mislead you and overall even if you qualify for everything they will take your $80 application, keep your money and will never actually submit your application. When i called they said i was denied because they already checked my pay rate for where i work which would be impossible since there was a typo in the email address for my employer. When i called to correct the typo they lied and said i was denied because they checked with my workplace. Poor management and very rude staff, especially a lady called Evon. Stay away from this awful place.

An honest and complete review,

My experience was not bad, I applied, and I took all the papers and everything was fine, Sandra was very kind in everything and very attentive.

The apartments are very nice, I saw them personally and in vdd they have good finishes and all the units have a balcony.
The problem was when they called me to sign after several weeks and running with everything they ask for, that they told us, barely, that it is only 1 parking per car (which does not make sense for 2 and 3-bedroom apartments) they have a major parking problem; but I didn't stay there, I did a review of the nearby apartments and I found several things to take into account.

They all say that parking is a problem and that if you stop where you shouldn't they will tow your car, even that cars have been stolen because there is no security.another alert is that apparently the maintenance service of the units is very bad.and that the deposit insurance sometimes does not return it.

Don't get me wrong, I think it's a very good opportunity for the price and because they are new units. But I would have liked to be notified before the car stalls so as not to lose the $80 of the application. Thanks to Sandra and Lisandra for your attention.
