Love staying here when going to Universal, Islands of Adventure and Citywalk. I've stayed here more than 3 times. Location is the best in terms of closeness to the parks and citywalk. Hotel is very clean. Employees are alway extremely nice and go above and beyond. The cleaning service actually cleans your room everyday. Pool is amazing, especially for kids. I couldn't recommend a better hotel to stay at.
Another great time at the Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando. It's within easy walking distance of the parks and City Walk and having early admission to Islands of Adventure was great. All the hotel staff we interacted with were wonderful and helpful. We hope to make it back again next year.
They charge $15 a day plus tax for a microwave. They also won't let you use a luggage rack yourself. Save your money and go stay in a hotel with actual amenities.

Great experience. Short walk to Universal Studio/ City Walk / Island of Adventures. Hotel staff from the folks at the check-in desk, to the pool staff, to the pool bar, to the Bell service - outstanding.
They scammed BeardMeatsFood! Doubled- quadrupled his portions on their challenge. Con artists!
We had a great experience staying at Hard Rock Hotel Orlando. The staff checking us in when we first arrived could have been friendlier. The staff in The Kitchen were absolutely amazing everytime we ordered take out or dined in, and they accomodated us with all our dietary restrictions (GL/DF, etc). The hotel memorabilia was great throughout. The pool was great! We would definitely stay there again.
Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando's service, staff, and location cannot be beat. For the price however, rooms/carpets/bathrooms/beds badly need a refresh.
Can’t beat the location of the Hard Rock—- closest hotel to all the parks. It is an easy 5 minute walk to the entrance gate of Universal Studios. The express passes that come with your stay are invaluable for maximizing the number of rides and minimizing wait time. The hotel staff is friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and always willing to help!
I was very disappointed in this hotel. We booked it for one night to go to HHN 32. Because of its location, it was perfect. We asked for an early check-in and arrived at three, but we were not given a room until after four. When we got into our room, one of the beds had blood on the comforter, and a dirty footprint at the end. Needless to say, we did not use that bed. We had high hopes for the Hard Rock Hotel, but I don’t think we will stay there again. Next time, I think we will just stay at the Royal Pacific resort as we have done before.
Hard Rock continues to be our go to hotel for trips to Universal. The staff is great and always courteous. Has one of the best pools. It is the closest hotel to walk to the park so you don't have to wait on the boat. Try a club level room. It is worth the extra you have to pay. Great stay as always. We will be back soon.
NEVER AGAIN, requested early check in and highes floor room for silence, result: check in at 4 and 2nd floor.could change to 5nd still unbelievable loud: do NOT! Choose pool view as the music is extremely loud until 10 PM, impossible to sleep.windows and carpet very dirty in room.location is great for visiting universal studios. BREAKFAST 50. - per person: REALLY? Did not eat there
Don’t bother with their eating challenge, it’s an absolute scam. Bigger portion than shown in pictures, a whole colander of chips instead of a normal sized portion, cake is frozen and near impossible to eat and the timer starts as soon as they put the food down on the table so after you complain you’re already 5 minutes into the challenge.
