Making arrangements for my moms funeral was smoothly and compassionately taken care off. The staff was very helpful and kind. She had a beautiful funeral for a beautiful lady. Every detail was perfect.

It was a rewarding experience working with the Staff at Hardage Rivermead during the execution of my mother's final arrangements. Very Profesional staff. They accommodated our every need with expedience and professionalism. Awesome People!

My wife's funeral was scheduled for January 3,2023, with Hardage - Giddens Rivermead Funeral Home, to take place at Jacksonville National Cemetery, Columbarium. On January 3,2023, Jimmy Arthur came to my home to take myself, our daughter, and the urn with my wife's remains to the National Cemetery. He arrived on time and we arrived at the cemetery on time. When we arrived, Jimmy and I had to go to the office to take care of the paperwork. The information on the papers was incorrect and so was the temporary Grave Marker tag. It was not the fault of Hardage - Gidden. Once the papers were corrected, we proceeded to the Committal Shelter for the service and afterwards to the Columbarium. The Grave Marker had not been corrected but were informed that once corrected it would be placed on the Grave Marker that day. Jimmy said he had to return to the cemetery in the afternoon and would check to see if the corrected one was in place. In the afternoon, Jimmy sent me a text with a picture to show that the corrected tag was in place. He kept his word which meant so much to me. Aside from this, I would like to say that Jimmy was polite and sociable to all my guests - very professional in every way.

Thank you for listening to us talk about our mother/grandmother and put together an amazing celebration of life for her. It left us all happy and with a warm heart. WE were so thankful that she had all her arrangements taken care of ahead of time and had her book all filled out about her wishes. Thank you again.

There are no words to express the gratitude my family has to the funeral director J. Lynn Gauthier and the rest of the Hardage Giddens Rivermead team for all they did for us. This was the worst time in our lives as we had suddenly lost our matriarch of the family in our home and were so devastated we couldn’t even process what to do and there are so many things to do. The team came to pick her up and they were respectful, kind and so very patient as it was difficult to be able to let her go and process what happened.
We met with Lynn the next day and from the very beginning she was so patient and kind. She answered all of our questions and gave us the time we needed to think and was always available and responsive to us with our many additional questions once we left our first appointment. It was such a pleasure to get to know her, she shared her personal knowledge and experiences with us to help support our questions and needs as we must have driven her crazy with our constant back and forth.
I strongly recommend working with Lynn and the funeral home for caring for your loved one, we can not thank them enough.
