Harmony United Psychiatric Care - Lady Lake

They're nice, but I just wish staff would communicate with doctors better, or learn a thing or two about EPO's, and not ruin my creditscore with severe medical debt that I already have, adding onto my stress. I like Dr. Mendez - hes straight and direct, and doesn't beat around the bush, but I feel like I was being rushed off the phone with him? Kind of rude for someone whos had lengthy history of mental health struggles (granted, i do ramble, rant, and blabber, and i understandtime constraints.). I love the therapist they assigned me, I felt very comfortable to vent onto her, and she is a great listener! I actually have had trauma recieving mental health help (search University Behavioral Center Orlando FL, iykyk) so that is why I haven't seen a Therapist or spoke truthfully to a Psychiatrist in a very long time.
Also, shout out to who ever is in billing and their manager, you're great! Definitely would recommend, but the staff need to read the fine print a little bit more, which is why its 4 stars and not 5.

Melissa is amazing I love her. She is very understanding, down to earth, and just an over all phenomenal person.

Dr. Ross is a wonderful doctor. She is caring compationate and she's one of the only doctors I see that remembers who I am.

Jessica Calabria was great to work with. Wasn't sure what to expect but she put my mind at ease and made my visit a calming experience.

Starting with a new therapist isn't easy however my therapist makes me feel very comfortable speaking with her and I feel she is genuinely interested in helping me out with my issues.

Dr Browryn Is amazing she is kind, Very understanding and very patient. She was a god sent.

Top notch welcoming upon entering very calm restful waiting area. Delightful, efficient, professional receptionist. Absolutely superb therapist. I couldn't even begin to contemplate going anywhere for my mental health care

Dr Lowery at Harmony is wonderful. She is very knowledgeable and kind. I will continue to work with her.

I've had to switch providers multiple times due to them switching offices & alsp peference. However, I do appreciate how easy it is to communicate with Harmony, specifically with payment, phone calls, and also how convenient the appointments are.

I spent an hour on a teleconference with an individual for my first visit who was not a licensed therapist. I know because I asked him about his qualifications. After an hour we wrapped it up and I said I was looking forward to working with him, even though I felt like he really wasn't building any confidence about the whole thing. What happened next was pretty disappointing; I heard nothing back from them even though they said they would follow up with me about another visit. Six months later I receive a bill in the mail for over $200 dollars. I called them to try to explain that there must be some mistake. How could they charge me for an hour that was a complete waste of my time. It would be like me pulling into someone's driveway in my service truck, having them come out and talk to me about their broken AC, and me driving away only to never return and yet send them a bill for the call. They have been relentless in their pursuit of the money they didn't earn. I have been threatened with collections. I have finally decided to just pay them as I am going to be purchasing a home in the next year and I don't need my credit taking a hit.

Addendum; 1 full week after the check cleared the bank, I receive yet another email from Harmony asking for money and adding a patient ledger card. I called them to straighten it out. I spoke to someone in billing and the showed that I still owed a balance. They had no record of the payment after a full week of the check having cleared. What can a person do at this point? It's unbelievable what a brilliantly shining example of the ineptitude of this business. I'm glad I'm through the rough patch of life I was going through more than a year and a half ago and no longer need someone to help me. I feel bad for anyone who has to use this service. I sure they have some great therapists. They never even called me back to see how I was doing but they sure as heck chased me for a year for payment for a wasted hour. And now that I have finally paid, I am still being harassed. I can't make this up.

I have been receiving help from Harmony United for the past year. I suffer from PTSD and depression. The staff have been very helpful in giving me the tools I need to keep these conditions under control. I am very grateful for their help.

My counselor is fantastic she has helped me a lot with many things in my personal life with no feelings of intrusion. My Phychiatrist is amazing too always works with me to take less meds when I am feeling good, explains everything and listens to me

Dr Jennifer Hancock is the most personally invested psychiatrist I have ever had. I have had psychiatrist insist before that I was not having withdrawal and there would be no downside to cold quitting meds on their watch- Dr Hancock immediately said "it matters how you feel, everyone handles these medications different"

Of all the psychiatrists I have had the please and often displeasure of meeting. I trust Dr Hancock to listen to me and to do what she thinks is right

Dr Farnez Winter Garden was honest, in a good way, with the tough truth and good advice. Easy to thing of conversation and delve into it. She is amazing

Scheduling mishap sent me to the wrong office but they were able to get me another appt through tele health same day. Mrs A. S. Arnp was great to talk to and had good feedback. Looks like I’ll get some more testing and be on my way to feeling more clear.

Some staff is nice enough but they've called out sick on me several times within and hour or two of the appointment, scheduled the wrong doctor several times and only really communicate when the bill is due.

I needed refill on my adhd meds. Easily done. I still need testing but Sherry was wonderful

Harmony is great. I have Bronwyn Hershey and she is amazing. She really works with you to figure out the right meds.
