Very busy the day I wentin, 3 days before Christmas. The staff was very friendly and courteous. Selection of great. Honesty of the staff instead of trying to take my money by telling me they knew they could not fix my automatic retrieve fly reel. They did introduce me to the Tsunami line of real's for inshore. Gave me some information on van staall that I was unaware of.gGreat store a little bit of a travel from my location however, I will be back for sure.

This little shop is perfect for the saltwater fisherman, novice to pro. The selection is outstanding and the prices are just as good as anywhere else, including online. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. A genuine pleasure to visit.

Having lived in fly fishing Meccas of the Mountain West for nearly a decade, I've had the opportunity to visit some of the best fly shops in the country. Goodes is just as good as any of them, when it comes to fly tying and other fly fishing apparel. Also have good "gear" or "spin" fishing equipment selection. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They're just good people. Worth a visit.

My family has bought gear from Harry Goode's for generations. Recently moved back to the area and had to stop here to pick up a couple of surf rigs. Got the usual great advice, good quality rod and reel sets, line and end tackle. They've still got it, even after all these years.

Excellent Service! Did not try to up sell me. Explained the pro/cons of all the fishing items in his stored. Also provided tons of priceless wisdom that led me to catch my first Bass on artificial bait.

Fantastic shop with a great selection. Everything you need to fish inshore with some offshore stuff as well. Loads of fly fishing equipment with enough tying materials to create anything. I love this shop and every Thursday night they have a fly tying night.
