Harveys Supermarket, Lakeland FL

Don't expect a Publix-like experience from this place. Most of the employees are rude and the store is dirtier than it should be. I've even bought food that was out of it's expiration date from here multiple times and when I brought it and the receipt back, I didn't get an exchange or refund. I believe the lack in cleanliness could be fixed if employees didn't just hang around the registers and customer service desk when it's slow in the store and actually did something. I've also had experiences where they do not honor their own sales prices when items are scanned. I don't know why I keep trying to give this place a chance. I've learned my lesson this time and won't be back.

Every time I come to the grocery store there is only 1 or 2 cashiers all of the buggies are outside none of them are cleaned.trash as soon as you walk in the door. The meat is always sloppy wrapped with blood spaking through packaging.

Please explain why only one person can run the western union machine? I have to wait for this man to get off his lunch break so I can pick up my money. Two customers already walked out because of it. But employees are just walking around the store with their or heads in the clouds.

Harveys and dollar tree they did not do nothing about of my car somebody try to stole me and I ask them to see the footage camera and nothing and the police did not do nothing im not going to that place anymore

The store is my go to, but the lack of customer service and non chalante attitude from there cashier makayla is unacceptable, she needsproper training and an attitude adjustment.

It's in the hood. The store is run down and not very clean or well stocked. More of a shell at times than a grocery store

Love this place. They have a friendly environment and good quality meat for a very good price. They also try to help their community along with other communities in time of distaster and need.

The cashier Maria was very rude and nasty will most likely be shopping at publix from now on where shopping is truly a pleasure!

Horrible customer service! The only person who helped me was the lady at the deli counter everyone else ignored me or walked by like I didn’t exist! I will not be coming back and sadly they are my closest store however I will drive out of my way for better service

Overpriced as usual with two small of print for the items that are buy one get one or should be anyway but are buy two get one instead.

Stop in on a Sunday afternoon you know right after 12 seems to me they're getting into the Walmart Dollar General mode no cashiers

Best dollar tree! They have a larger selection and always have items in stock compared to the Auburndale location on US 92.

Harvey's typically offers much of the same products as Walmart, and pricing is competitive, but some products, like coffee and milk, I've found to be slightly higher. Store is clean, and finding products is fairly easy. Staff is friendly and helpful. The biggest benefit for me is that I can park near the entrance. I hate the time it takes me to find a parking spot at the local Walmart, and rarely find a spot close to one of the two entrances. Harvey's saves me time.

This is a wonderful store with quality product, great prices and outstanding employees. The "hot" deli items - chicken wings & chicken with dumplings - specifically, were delicious.
Freshly baked breads and other fresh bakery items round out the whole grocery shopping experience in a very positive finish.

I will always shop at Harvest is great prices in there always save money when I go there food always good meats always fresh I love it

First Harveys I've ever visited. Overall they left the layout pretty much the same as it was when it was winn dixie. Their product selection is just ok. Prices are good. Store is clean employees have been helpful and friendly and they offer a rewards card

I only go to Harveys if I only need I think. Otherwise I will go 5 to 10 miles from my home to go to one of the few last Winn Dixies. I was in Harveys the other night, only to get creamer. I noticed the stand alone freezer. Inbetween the glass & metal of the freezer was covered with mold! I've also stopped buying ice at the same store for the same reason. When we saw the mold in the ice freezer, we showed it to the store manager, he said it would be taken care of. We went back to the store 2 days later just to see if it was cleaned. It wasn't. Harveys does not have the same standards as Winn Dixie did. And it's a shame because Harveys is like 1/2 mile from my home.

It's always a great experience when I shop at Harvey's. They have great prices and great staff willing to assist you with your shopping needs. The only reason they got 4 stars instead of 5 stars from me is because there isn't a good variety of chips which my family loves and the few things I got from the dollar lane, such as deodorant and donuts weren't any good. The deodorant was hard and crumbled and the donuts were bad.

Its okay I love the bogo however I do notice those prices are higher than most stores I visit. You can usually get reasonable prices on some meats as well.

Called to ask if anyone turnes in my debit card. A very rude managee answered and asked if i would call back in an hour because she "didnt have time to look in the office right now. "
