Hathaway Walter OD reviews
9Just called to see if they are accepting new patients and was told no and to call back every week or two to see if they have open spots. When I asked if she could take my number, she said no, you have to call, we don’t a waitlist. Bad, unpleasant customer service and just seems silly and a waste of time rather than calling when there is a spot open than answering the same question repeatedly.
The eye doctor doesn’t care about patient concerns. The front staff has no patience, rude, never greets, and often makes you feel being a African American is a problem. In the year of 2023 it’s sad. The office is small and claustrophobic. I don’t believe in writing negative reviews but if you want good quality service think again. They also make up rules and don’t have a policy update handbook or visible to ensure new rules. I hope this helps saves someone from my personal experience.
I have been waiting over a month no call or anything. Happy to take your money buy not to answer your questions. Asked if they could mail them to me she said yes them another person who worked said they don't do that. What good is the front desk I guess if you know the owner nothing else matter. Probably won't see my classes till next year. Will never return to this place and you wonder why mom and pop places go out of business lack of respect and favoritism I'm sure.
I am a ssi and ssdi beneficiary.i walked in with my Rx and insurance to purchase eye glasses.their intake process was simple.their frames selection was nice for my Rx requirements fortunately. 11 days after my order i got the call my glasses were ready for pickup.notice how i have the transition lenses.super sharp! I didnt pay anything out of pocket from start to finish
I take all 3 of my kids here, and I've been here myself. They are all so nice and my kids like them. Dr. Hathaway is a great doctor and has a good bedside manner with all 3 kids. Yes, the waiting room is very small, the entire office is, but they don't overschedule, so it isn't hard to be able to sit down. They have a great selection of frames as well.
Got my first pair of glasses there couldnt see what the problem was now my eyes are fine thank you Hathaway.
Missed dignoses! Tries to over charge you be careful his staff at the desk will flip your b switch quick make sure you know your rights and comfortable with your insurance plan and what they cover! They do not like to do paper work! You sit in a very small smelly waiting room! Dr. Hathaway is nice himself to your face that is but his staff is another story! Bad oras at the desk! Be careful it will rub off their terrible attitudes! Takes a long time for tour glasses to come back! If you want to be treated nicely don't go there!
I am 53 years old and have been going to Dr. Hathaway since I was 18 years old. In fact he gave me my first pair of glasses after my MEPS visit before going into the USMC. Since returning some 15 years ago to Tallahassee I have been a very happy patient. I can not be more happy with the service I have received over the years. Even with my special glass needs Dr. Hathaway has always been accommodating. Thanks Dr. Hathaway from Jack Cannon
I started going to Dr. Hathaway as a teenager and now as an adult I am seriously considering going to see him on my journey to start wearing contacts as apposed to regular glasses simply because of how kind, understanding, and professional he and his staff are.
