17Food was just okay and it was very pricey! Online they advertised a happy hour but when you get there, there’s no signage or menu about it.
No line, no waiting. The Cuban was bomb, and the guacamole w/ pork masitas was great. Her salad was meh. And once we got our food, forget it - server nowhere to be seen. Glad we tried it, YMMV.
They included 20% mandatory service charges and then asked more tips. Atmosphere was really nice before they brought a check. Cocktails were amazing, we liked ceviche, but fish and chicken were just usual one
The food was incredible, the dish recommended, the drink delicious, definitely a place to return and ask for Douglas! The best! Excellent service.
Great place to have mojitos during their happy hour and to people watch! They have a mojito bar if you want to stay. The yuca fritas w truffle were good (only 3 in 1 order) but were delicious. Humberto gave excellent service!
Excellent service from the Bartender and Mr. Ariel who was our waiter. We only went to have a few drinks while listening to good Cuban music. As good Cubans that we are. We did not eat at the place, because we had eaten in a restaurant next door. But we did. The dishes that were seen when leaving looked very good.
Food is good
Service is good
Prices are NOT good
A service charge of 20% is already included, leaving you with no choice but to decide what size of tip you want to give.
Additional tip spots on the check and the pen are also provided
Great place to get a Cuban meal with a great and dynamic atmosphere.
Food was to die for, super tasty. I got the salmon with rice and sweet plantain. Salmon was perfectly cooked and the sauce was on point.
The service could have been better though, we had to wait a long time to order.
The location is right at the center of Lincoln boulevard, great spot.
Food is amazing as always, however, our server must be new or doesn’t known etiquette. He took the plates from the table without asking if we are done eating or not. It will be nice to ask.
The food was great! Unfortunately, the place was too noisy (the background Latin music was too loud), we couldn't hear each other for a normal conversation, so we have to yell, which it was ver annoying.
The service was very slow, and took forever for us to get our food and dessert.
Excellent service and great food. Emily was top notch and very knowledgeable this restaurant is a must on my travels to Miami Beach.
The food was horrible! I ordered the garlic shrimp with white rice. My husband ordered the bistque ensebollado. Terrible too! I was better off eating at "Pollo Tropical", The shrimp was mushy the rice cold and HARD! I ordered toasted bread and butter as an app as I waited for my meal. It all came together. Bread hard and cold by then. And! On top of that they add a 20% manditory tip! Never ever again. This was NOT worth $95.00
Milton S table # 31 horrible service, never any presentation, never ask how was the food, no kind at all, to rude the guy.
Delicious spot for lunch. Huge portions! Either split with your partner or be prepared to take half of it home. There is a lot of bang for your buck.
Very fun and festive vibe. We loved the outside seating.
Food was just OK and so was our server but there's definitely better options for the price.
The ceviche was super delicious and the Havana chicken was delicious. Douglas' attention was excellent.
Noriski the Cuban bartender is amazing! Definitely order Cuba's national drink the mojito. And get a medium which is equivalent to a large. Very strong and tasty.
You can not go wrong with the Cubano Sandwich. It is a go too of mine.
NOTE: the restaurant charges a 20% surcharge. Which is equivalent to a tip. (Probably the restaurant got smart and got tired of people walking off on their bills with no tipping or low tipping. " A famous saying comes to mind, when in Rome be a Roman). PS for 99% of you, you're on vacation. Have a good time and enjoy it here. These are really good experience.
