Havana Beach Bar & Grill, Rosemary Beach FL

This place is really overrated. The hostess was annoyed, the wait staff was slow, the food was cold and hugely overpriced. The ambiance is fine, but not well kept or cleaned. The waitress asked if I would like the fries or salad with the (subpar) Cubano I ordered, then there was an upcharge on the bill for the salad she offered as if it were a part of the entree. I live in Zürich Switzerland which is notoriously expensive and was utterly appauled by the prices of the entrees and glasses of wine. This is a place that people who have never been anywhere might find charming, but the entirety of Rosemary Beach has a Disneyland/Stepford feel and I would not recommend.

Excellent service and food! Our waiter, Ethan, provided outstanding customer service throughout our visit. The oysters were incredibly fresh and delicious, making it a must-try for oyster lovers. My wife couldn't get enough of the mixed berry salad, which was her favorite. The atmosphere, complete with live music, added a delightful touch to our dining experience. We highly recommend this restaurant for a memorable evening out.

Let’s start with the good:
-Restaurants had a good vib
-Well decorated.
-Manager tried to make amends
Now the bad:
-Took 1 hour to get appetizer
-Once meals they were average at best
-Burger overcooked
-salmon undercooked
-fries cold
- wait staff and manager was slow with communicating that there was an issue with our food. We would have been more understanding if they would have communicated from the beginning that they were having issues in the kitchen.

Service on the rooftop was so slow we left before even getting water or drink orders placed after 30 minutes.

Had a reservation. Arrived early. No valet. No parking available. For a restaurant that takes a cc for their reservations wild that they didn’t notify me of the situation

Abby is a wonderful Server. The team set up a propane heater near our table without asking! Host Staff were smiling and friendly. Fantastic Food and adult beverages.

Beware! My entire family and nanny got food poisoning from this restaurant. We called to request a refund and they refused. Terrible customer service but I guess that is to be expected from an unsanitary restaurant.

Took my wife, nanny, and 9 month old daughter to the pearl for thanksgiving brunch on 11/23/23. Within 12 hours my entire family has been profusely vomiting from their food poisoned thanksgiving brunch. I called their assistant manager Taylor to let him know what happened. Taylor was extremely unhelpful and rude. He completely dismissed the fact that we were sick and told me there was nothing he can do. I will never come back to the pearl again. Food poisoning and terrible customer service, can you ask for a worse combo?

Not recommended. Not an isolated experience. Please read.

I recently dined at Havana Beach at the Pearl and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. The inattentive wait staff was a major drawback, as it took quite a while to even get their attention. However, the most disappointing aspect was the cold entrees. It's disheartening to receive food that's not served at the right temperature. I hope the restaurant can improve its service and food quality to provide a better dining experience in the future. I would have loved the opportunity to discuss two of the four entrees being cold but the server never returned to the table and management was nowhere to be seen. Unacceptable for a $200+ dinner.

Great views and perfect location. Needed more shade/umbrellas as it was very hot in full sun. Food was good. Cocktails are very good. Nice atmosphere.

The food was absolutely phenomenal We had 4 different seafood entrees & they were all great. The grouper starter was great as well!

Came here while in town for a Bachelorette party and had a wonderful meal. The staff was very friendly took into consideration food allergies (we had a gluten and pork allergy in our group) and the even took time to let us know how we could modify items on the menu to make them allergy friendly. The restaurant is stunning and is attached to a hotel. While the restaurant itself was gorgeous and the service was good, the food came out incredibly slow. We waiting closer to an hour for anything besides bread to come out and some people in our waited longer than an hour hour Cesar salads with chicken which they were told came in a dinner size but then got the same size as my side salad. I got the shrimp and grits without sausage, and it was absolutely delicious, but sadly, not many people at the table enjoyed their meals. A lot of the food came out overcooked.

The black lady at the hostess booth was extremely unhelpful and even more rude we just wanted Cuban food and a patio she was even hatful on the phone when we called

Wow - What a wonderful dining experience! My family and I enjoyed celebrating my birthday and one year cancer free at Havana at the Pearl (30A - Rosemary Beach)! The Manager, Omar delivered an exemplary personalized experience through his amicable style; along with recognition of my celebrations, and a delectable dessert - Omar is definitely a Star and an asset to your organization!

We had a wonderful experience at Havana. Fantastic service and food were exceptional. They thought of everything needed for an unforgettable meal for my husband and me.

I'm a longtime local, REALTOR, and supporter of women in business and came to Havana Beach Bar & Grill to meet a colleague of mine for a quick lunch. It was a hot Summer day in Rosemary Beach so of course the AC inside the hotel was amazing but we opted to head to the rooftop bar that overlooks the pool. Only a few of the tables on the rooftop have shade during midday sun. The bar also doesn't provide a big overhang so majority of the seats were in the sun, too. We were able to squeeze on the right side of the bar where there was some shade. We ordered the fish tacos and the chicken tacos. They were flavorful and DELICIOUS! The food came quickly despite it being super busy. I will definitely be back. The views are beautiful, too.

We had been looking forward to our dinner at Havana @ The Pearl for months and when we finally got there tonight we had our 4 month old with us in a stroller and were asked if we “want to bring the stroller in with us? ” To which we said yes since she was sleeping, so we were moved to a table that was the furthest away from the beautiful ocean view we had been looking forward to, shoved up against the Valet stand servicing the hotel guests. We asked if we could move closer to the water which we were told no since they had a reservation for the table, we sat and ordered drinks and when another table finished and got up and left we asked if we could move to that table and again we’re told it was so busy and the hostess was overwhelmed, even though there were only 3 tables on the patio. Finally after really making a point of saying we would like to move tables since we were unhappy with where we were sitting our Server was able to make it happen. It did seem as though because we had a baby and stroller with us that they were wanting to shove us in the back and were not accommodating in anyway. Ward, our server was very sweet and helpful. Our cocktails were so-so, nothing to write home about but our entrees were both delicious. I ordered the Fresh Catch of the Day which was a shrimp dish over root vegetables and it was great! My husbands Grouper was also really wonderful, lots of flavor to both of them. We definitely won’t be going back to this restaurant on future trips, there are so many restaurants in Rosemary that are family friendly and sadly this is not one of them.

Our server, Price, was amazing! I haven’t had such stellar service in a long time. The food was incredible and Price made excellent recommendations. 10/10 would recommend

Very slow service! Wasted several hours here for a drink & a few small plates. Many other tables next to us got up & left. We should have also. Too many issues to list all. Few things I’ll note here. Food arrived before drinks. 1 drink never came. Went to bar to order it. Bartender took 30mins to make 3 cocktails, then refused to transfer bill to the table. Cashed out & found a $11 ‘to go’ fee. What? ! Background is in the service industry. I get it. Have never complained before, but this was over the top ridiculous!

My wife and I went twice. Once for dinner and once for lunch. The food was great both times but the service, while very friendly, was kind of slow. It was also very hot during lunch. There was live music and it was a good place to watch a sunset if you get the right seating.
