Havertys Furniture, Port Richey FL

Jamie was our sales lady and was very friendly, listened and helped us find exactly what we wanted. First thing she did was offer us a tape measure, like she knew I forgot mine at home! She was patient even though we basically knew what collection we wanted. She still helped us review every other option in the store. Then after a couple hours she brought in the design lady (sorry I cannot remember her name) and we all sat down on the collection which we originally came for and ended up purchasing, and discussed our room layout and which configuration suited us best. They have a wide selection of furniture to choose from. We were assured it is very high quality, and for our first impression it seemed to be high quality. However we were able to purchase a 5 year protection plan that includes service and repair in home. A benefit which ended up giving us the compete confidence to invest in this furniture. Delivery is about 8 weeks on the collection that we went with. I figured that it would take some time so that was not a huge disappointment. Just remember they're going to custom build most of the stuff in there for your home. So if you already know you have to wait.you won't get upset lol.

I have had good experiences with Haverty's in other states, which is why we drove 40 miles to this one. The first saleswoman that greeted us gave us inaccurate information about whether a particular item was real or manufactured leather. We then asked for the Sales Manager who completed our sale. He was very knowlegeable and patient with us while we browsed. Our overall experience was fine at this point. We look forward to receiving our couch & loveseat!

Dylan Piechocki listen to our needs and made excellant selections for us. We left with a complete living room set. We are so pleased.

I purchased a recliner on February 3,2021. Took the floor model because the said it would take several weeks for delivery. I purchased the recliner because of a broken femur and it would help to elevate the leg. The recliner stopped working on February 28,2021. I called the service center they could not send anyone until March 13 2021. The service tech came and had no parts except for a motor. The recliner is electric and the power switch stopped working. I paid over $1000.00. He had to order the part. They called me today March 24 said the part just came in and now I have to wait till April 7 for the part to be installed. This is horrible service that this recliner power switch stopped working in less then 30 days in my home. I am reporting this to the BBB. I will never buy a piece of furniture from Haverty’s again. The manager of the store was contacted very rude and unprofessional. Offered no assistance. Terrible company. I regret purchasing the chair from them

They offer FREE design service, but based on their prices you are paying quite a lot for it. I also thought they had made in the states furniture, but again if you look at where pieces are manufactured that isn’t the case either. My assumption is a few pieces are made in USA and the rest is not. I’ve seen enough.

We very much appreciated that Desiree let us browse at our own pace. While we intended to look for “ideas” today, as a result of the relaxed atmosphere, we were able to really talk with each other about what we were seeing and make our purchase. The store looks the best it’s looked in Years and Desiree is a delight. Thank you.

I had a very courteous & knowledgeable salesman named Bryan, located in your Port Richey, Fl.location on State hwy #19. Who pointed out the sturdiness of the fine construction to the well assembled coil construction of the cushions. He noted all the fabrics that are optional together with additional costs for upgraded fabrics. I would highly recommend your store.

After several bad experiences shopping for a new Tempurpedic Mattress, I was treated awesomely by your Showroom Manager, Dylan. Over the phone he answered all my questions and more. He insisted I try out various mattresses to be sure I wanted what I wanted. I was okay with that because he seemed to actually care. An art lost in most Salespeople these days. Thank you. I cannot wait to sleep on my new bed!

We recently moved to the area and needed to furnish our new home, and stopped by Havertys in Port Richey. Brian Odum was so helpful finding the ideal furniture that suited us and the style we were looking for. He also brought in a decorator from their staff to help with picking out our rugs. The delivery crew did an awesome job setting everything up for us. We are very pleased with our experience with this store and will certainly be back for our future furniture needs!
