HCA Florida Doral Emergency

Brought my daughter in, staff was extremely attentive. Great service and it was super quick!
Would come back!

Shara was extremely unprofessional and condescending when I questioned why I needed to pay $500 when my insurance card said $50. She said “it says emergency outside you can see it” insinuating I couldn’t read. She also “this is the United States things are expensive” making me feel like she thought I just got off a plane. When I told her her attitude was making me feel uncomfortable, she very sarcastically said “oh wow I don’t mean that”. I waited over 40 minutes to be seen! Horrible place don’t ever come here I should have read the reviews. Shara should not be working in the healthcare industry.

Best emergency room I have ever been. They were fast, efficient, and reassuring. Other hospitals should take notes from their service.

The attention is very good but when I went with my son at 6am to the person who attended me at the entrance I asked him twice if this was an UNGENT CARE and he told me YES and it turns out that it is NOT URGENT CARE is EMERGENCY CARE and now my insurance is charging me $750.00 dollars just for giving my son a pain pill and I only had to pay $40.00, I feel deceived and scammed.

Great experience. Seen right away and the staff were very friendly (especially Alex) and responsive. Highly recommend if you need an emergency room visit.

No, no, no. I do not recommend this “hospital” to anyone. It’s a shame it’s the only one in the Doral area. I took my daughter in a few hours ago and it looked like nobody worked there. Someone finally came out and he was EXTREMELY rude and rolled his eyes when I was telling him that my daughter couldn’t breathe well. She was even uncomfortable with the way she was treated. When we walked into the room the nurse looked at us without a greeting or hello. First thing she says is “ what’s your name” so rudely. My daughter looked at me again and the minute her vitals were okay I didn’t want to spend anymore time there. Everyone seemed annoyed and rude and treated us poorly. When it was time to get discharged, the lady said you can go now and I told her my daughter is still attached to the machine. She told me to just take it off my self that it’s easy (the sticker they attach around the finger and the blood pressure). Even if it was easy this isn’t my job. Nobody said good bye, we walked to our car and the lady ran to the car with my daughters prescription. NEVER AGAIN what a horrible experience.

$1200 for 4 stitches on my middle finger with state insurance. Without insurance would have cost over 5000 dollars. Forget this place.

Staff was incredibly friendly from the moment I came in. They made me feel so comfortable. And I was seen immediately!

While I was there i told them all that experience was worth 5 stars so I decided to put it in writing.

Yesterday, May 29,2023, at 6 p.m. Or more, they took me to that center with chest pain and a high blood pressure and they refused to treat me or give me first aid.

This place is a scam you guys aren’t an emergency room you guys are an urgent care…. You guys change the name to charge patients as hospital and leave patient like us with a $300 bill after the insurance paid. Shame on profit from patients… I will never visit this place….

I arrived at 10pm with severe chest pain and they told me that they were attending to another emergency, they didn't even ask me the reason for my visit! What a lack of respect and attention to patients! It's 11 pm and I went somewhere else.

The worst experience of my life, I went because I had some results for a urine infection, the only thing they did was read them and tell me that they had to send me to a hospital because it was serious. They didn't even make sure to repeat the urine test, they did NOTHING, absolutely NOTHING, then they charged me and told me to go to a hospital, at the end of the whole day at the hospital they told me what are you doing here? We don't even know why they sent you here, just to charge me. THE WORST thing really was the doctor who treated us, a tall Latin doctor who was super insensitive, not at all professional or humane. And I still get a bill at my house from that place when they didn't do anything. They talked to me and left. I really don't know what they do there.

I came to this emergency room with my daughter. She had allergy including rash. Attention was quick, professional. I don't live in Florida. Im from TX. And to be honest this emergency room is better than the ones I have attended in Houston. I'm glad I was able to find this place near. They provide a solution. Prescribe her immediately. I'm give this place 5 star. 100% recommend.

Absolutely satisfied. I came in with my daughter and the nurses were on IT! I noticed how they communicate with one another and they stay on the same page. Immediately my daughter was taken care of and they provided her with the medical care she needed. Dr B and her team made my baby feel better and answered all my questions. Ugh She left feeling so much better and so happy and they even gave her a fuzzy bear! I strongly recommend this ER. 10/10!

Today February 22,2023 at around 6 pm I went to this place, and received the worst service ever. I went because I was referred by the urgent care doctor to go to the emergency center. When I got to this location, there was nobody at the front. After a while, someone showed up and I handled her the papers from the urgent care to this lady. She immediately started to complain and told me to wait. After 20 minutes, I asked if I could see a doctor and she told me they were full however called me 2 minutes after that. When she was filing documents, she started directing herself to me in a disrespectful manner and implied that I was wasting her time by saying that she didn’t see a point in me being there. I repeatedly told her I was sent there by a doctor in the urgent care but she kept on nagging that she didn’t see the point. I asked if I should leave (even though I was referred by a doctor to be there) and she said yes since she thought the doctor who referred me made a wrong call. She quickly returned my ID and turned her back on me. This is not the behavior I would expect from a health care provider and left disappointed.

My experience in this ER was excellent. I went there for severe pain that my husband had in his left leg and the care was unbeatable. All the staff was very nice. I was surprised by the fast service and the safe treatment they carried out. We stayed less time than we thought. My husband had all the tests possible and everything was very fast. We are delighted and satisfied with the treatment received in this place. I really recommend this ER to anyone who needs it.

The doctors are excellent, but not their staff, you call to manage any medication, referral or whatever you need and. Inca they return calls, in addition to the poor attention of the people in front when you arrive, I do not recommend the place at all, I just left without seeing the doctor
