HCA Florida Gadsden Emergency

Horrible security guards, sit on their phone and watch tiktok and scroll through instagram.oh, but they will put it down when someone walks by, then takes it right back out. When i asked if she had a water cup she looked at me up and down and said to go to the vending machine.i know they have cups of water because when i go back into my appointment they will give me one. Oh, the vending machine doesn’t have anything but diet pepsi.never coming back, they need new security guards asap.

Giving one start only because it's required. Typing this in the parking lot without being seen. Didn't even make it to triage. I'm surround by people that are sick with flu and covid symptoms but I'm here because the pain in my abdomin that's radiating to my back and up to my left shoulder blade. Been sitting in that waiting room, watching everyone that came in after me be seen and I'm trying not to cry from extreme pain. Once my fever spiked and I felt like I was going to throw up on the person with covid up against ke in a shared seat, I decided to leave in hopes the next ER won't sweep me under the rug just cause I won't help boost their covid numbers.

My stay at HCA where great the Doctors and Nurses an all people in there respectful places did there best for me, and I Emma thank you all very, very much for taking care of me!

This is the first time I can say the hospital had me in and out within 47 minutes. While attending the Academy up the street I had a medical emergency. The hospital got me in, addressed my issues, offered for me to come back after hours to get more thorough treatment. Truly wonderful and grateful to ALL who helped me.

It was AMAZING! I was in the back in no time and seen by the doctor in no time. If I ever had to go back, I would want to see Dr. Walker and his nurse. The actually care that I was in pain and wanted relief FAST! After being seen out of town then coming home with the same issue, something had to be done and Mr. Walker did his thing!

The ER physician at Gadsden diagnosed a condition that all my other providers had missed. I was treated with the utmost dignity and respect throughout my ER visit. I have never experienced better care.

Once you get past the security person (who is not friendly), everyone in the medical part are very professional and are all about making sure you are being cared for in the right manner.

Overall #1 quality care! Both Nurses and Dr were very kind, polite and they all attentively listened as well. Couldn't ask for better care and concern.

The Paramedics made me feel safe and comfortable. The Nurse & Doctor was very attentive to me and I felt so safe in there hands. They explained every step to me. I was alone and they gave me peace & reassurance that I was going to be alrightThank you all so much. Miracles of blessings.

Never a waiting line but more like a quick care. No MRI machine. If serious i would not go there

I took my 90-year-old mother to the ER on Thursday, 12/29. Everyone at the ER was courteous and attentive. They quickly diagnosed her as having pneumonia and transported her to HCA in Tallahassee. All the staff at the ER are great!

Doctor and nurses were good, but the doctor wanted to send me to Tallahassee, but there were no beds available, and was short staffed, this happened to me when I was there b4, I was there 7 hrs or so, this time I just told him I was going home, I was not staying there and waiting a half a day on a bed to come available, so I blame the upper management wasn't a bed problem its a staffing problem, things like this makes me not to want to even go to a hospital if I have to wait that long

I have sickle cell disease and they told me i was drug seeking and wouldn't help me i didnt choose to be this way i was born with it

I usually dn't have any good things to say about this facility or its staff but in this case I do. I was treated by Dr. Ajit and his staff, who showed me that their concern was genuine and that my health really matters. FIVE STARS FOR THAT SHIFT'S STAFF!
However, I must say that upon my discharge the security guard that was at the front desk was a bit rude and disrespectful. I attempted to ask him a question and he was so busy looking at his cell phone that when he looked up at me it was as though his eyes could cut. I assume I interrupted something important to him.
I believe that when you're at work it's ok to have our phones due to the nature of emergency situations that may arise but when it comes to your job that your phone life be placed on hold to ensure that you assist them too. This was my only complaint and concern.
