The PA and Nurse, both named Michelle, were super knowledgeable and helpful. I received fast and thoughtful care the entire time I was here!

I visited the ER West location early this morning and received great service. I was taken back immediately and seen by a team of kind and caring professionals. Couldn’t have asked for a better ER experience. Thank you to this great team.

I badly injured my back and was in so much pain I couldn’t even stand up. My husband got me to the ER and they were wonderful. Within a few minutes, I’d received pain relief and within a few more, a CT was done and read by the attending doc. Everyone was friendly and highly professional. Within 45 minutes, I was on my way home. I’m hopeful I won’t need an ER again anytime soon, but if I do, I’ll definitely go there again.

The wait was extremely long. The nurses were not using gloves accessing my IV port increasing my risk of infection. Very unimpressed

Florida has always been my favorite hospital to visit because they always show dedication care and urgency in every patience and every time that I come there to the visit thank you very much for all your support and help and services

Staff was very slow. I came in due to an unexpected asthma attack and I wasn’t seen until 45 minutes after I checked in and it took 30 minutes just to get checked in. When I stated I was having chest pains I was then told by a nurse “maybe it’s not chest pain and it’s coming from it being hard for you to breathe” I know the difference between a sore chest from breathing vs chest pains. I was in pain and didn’t feel like I mattered to the hospital!

We brought my husband in to the ER February 15 with possible sepsis from a kidney stone as ordered by his primary physician. We got there around 9: 30am and were taken back pretty promptly. He was suffering with excruciating pain from the kidney stone. After lots of questioning and tests he was finally administered fentanyl for his pain. Then they wheeled him back out to the waiting room where we sat for hours waiting for a room. As the fentanyl is not long lasting his pain returned with a vengeance. We repeatedly ask for more pain meds. Our pleas were meet with little to no compassion. As my husband writhed with pain, actually sobbing out loud others in the waiting room were treated and taken to rooms. Finally the urologist came down to talk to us about surgery. We complained to him about what was going on he went to speak with whoever and low and behold we were in a room in five minutes and my husband was administered the pain meds. No one should ever have to suffer through that kind of pain for hours for any reason. It’s inhumane.

My wife came in with severe back pain and was seen immediately she was provided medication and a CT scan and all staff was extremely professional and efficient. Also a great bedside manner from the doctor and the PA. She was diagnosed with a bulging disc and given medication and a treatment plan. Our entire experience lasted two hours. That was from admission to diagnosis and discharge. Thanks North Florida regional emergency for a job well done.

Unfortunately I went to the ER on a busy night. It was backed up and seemed understaffed. The wait was way too long for me as I was in extreme pain.

The admitting staff was efficient, but not extremely pleasant. There were people waiting for hours to be seen and get results. I had to wait 5 1/2 hours to get any results. There was no person on staff that was a doctor of ophthalmology, which was the reason I needed care. The young lady running the CT scan was most unpleasant, short tempered, and not good with patient concerns. There were only two young men who were extremely kind to me, gave me my test results, and were comforting. I will need to choose a different ER in the future.

Awful. I've been sitting here since 830pm it is now 3am. Checked in, registered, IV placed, sent back out into the lobby. Not enough chairs for people. No heat. It's 38° outside right now. Inside it is 55°. People are crying in pain. Someone is bleeding from their bursting leg wounds as it's propped on a chair, a drunk guy is walking around asking personal questions to people waiting to be seen for their emergencies. No security. Just awful. If you see a bloody IV line on the floor of the lobby, that's mine. I've asked to have this removed 3x and they keep pushing it off to the discharge nurse.

Literally go anywhere else, waited for 2 hours in the waiting room and another hour in my “room” which was a bed in the middle of a hallway before being seen.

Update 5 hours, eye is killing me and still haven’t seen anyone.

I have been to NFR emergency a few times accompanying other people and recently for myself. I am always impressed with the care and efficiency.
