HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital

My out Patient phlebotomy appointment went very well. The Security person was excellent, The intake clerk was excellent, the phlebotomist was
excellent. I will always schedule my labs at PMC. I am so Happy PMC is
here.

My husband was at this hospital doing a procedure and I am so pleased with the care that the whole staff provided. I’m a very satisfied patient! Would recommend any one to visit this hospital! What an amazing experience my husband and myself encountered

I am hospital phobic so it was not a place where I wanted to be. But with an arrival time of 6: 00 p.m, a room by 6: 11 and tests (ct head scan and blood work) finished by 7, and then the wait for results (a bit longer), the visit was efficient.
What was impressive was staff professionalism, yet caring from the check in to the discharge. Teo (the nurse assigned to me) made me feel comfortable from his introduction to his consistent care. Dr Barajas checked in several times and was supportive as well.
Overall solid care with amazing people!

I went to this hospital after a work related incident. I was hit by a machine that is 1000’s of pounds and flew off a motorized cart. My whole left side was injured. When the dr/nurse I’m not sure what she was came in to see me she asked what happened I told her all my left side was hurt and how my neck and head were in pain. Her response was ok well what hurts the most cause I can’t radiate your whole body. So I picked the worst places. She pushed down on my leg and that was the extent of my evaluation. She ordered X-rays and came back later and said x rays look good and discharged me. I don’t know if that’s standard to not evaluate a patient and just order tests. She didn’t check to see if I suffered a concussion, didn’t check my eye movement, no examine at all. The health care system is a joke. Like at least examine your patients first.

I was having another severe asthma attack today 4/26 they treated me promptly, and quickly. They took me serious and got me the care/scripts I needed.the male doctor that came in was extremely handsome, I’m patiently waiting for another asthma attack…hahah (just kidding)

After suffering an accident and having a bunch of pain and afflictions I decided to go to the hospital near me which was POINCIANA. THEY ONLY TOOK MY BLOOD and basically said I'm fine to go back to work. My arm was brutally dislocated and my lung was partially collapsed 2 weeks ago. THEY DONT CARE! I wasn't even touched by anything other than a needle. DISTURBED.

This was my first visit to the hospital and I must say it was a great experience. The people were very friendly, courteous and professional. The area I was at was very clean. I was seen on time and the radiologist was great. Over rating was A+. Would definitely recommend the Poinciana Hospital to family and neighbors.

Billing coding issue and no help from the doctor's office or this hospital. Wouldn't go back to this hospital for any services at all. They don't want to help their patients at all and just ignore your calls for help.

Worst hospital ever, if i could give a 0 star i would. I came in to er for a blister that popped, the only reason i went was bc im diabetic and u have to be careful with open wounds. They got me in quick and out, they saw me with in 20 min, i told them i was diabetic at check in and again to the doc.then they did nothing to my wound they prescribed antibotics and didn't even clean the wound, i asked are u going to clean the wound they said no it wasn't ordered and they put a new bandage and sent me on my way. I better not get a bill for what they did bc i didnt get any treatment ill pay the 5 dollars for the bandaid. For what they did i did it at home. Worst hospital i have ever been to in my life. They do the bare minimum to get paid and thats all. They dont care about people just money. Never going there again. They need an advent heath hospital here in poinciana like celebration.

First time in hospital in over 40+ years. That said, my experience in HCA was a tolerable one. Nurses, outstanding. DR's helpful, knowledgeable, but not enough face time. To Chef, food good.
Personal food service afforded to me during hard days. Staff is
outstanding and very accommodating. Will recommend HCA to
everyone here at Solivita. Hope to God I never see you folks at
HCA again, Great job!

The paramedic Judy was very helpful and knowledgeable signing me in and escorting me to my room, she was the best, The nurses were friendly, and the registration girl was very nice, The doctor was very very knowledgeable and had great bedside manner

Nurses are not properly trained. After taking blood samples, blood was oozing out for long times making bed bloody. C Scan diagnosed blood clots in artery, which was found incorrect after angiogram procedure at Osceola regional hospital. Poinciana Hospital did not have Vascular surgean.

As I walked in I was greeted very nicely by the front desk associate who informed me of what instruction we were to follow. Then we got our visitor stickers by the security agent who was very pleasant also. Then when the gentleman from the MRI procedure came and let us accompany my mom so that she. Wasn't afraid was very comforting, although I must say the young lady in the MRI desk was very unpolite and didn't even agnowledge when we said good morning to her. But, the procedure lasted about 20 minutes. The gentleman brought my mom out and Then we were escorted out and left. Overall a very caring and compassionate experience for my mom who has Alzheimers, Dementa and who doesn't walk. Overall 9 out experience. Thank You.

I had a great experience at the Poinciana Medical Center. All nurses and hospital personnel treated me with so much respect and care. I am very thankful to phlebotomy technicians who check my blood levels all the time several times a day. Also very thankful to the people who prepared the meals, food was tasty. Thanks for saving my life Poinciana Medical Center. Grateful for life.

This was my second time visiting this hospital and it was a very pleasant experience. I was scared of what I thought was happening but it turned out to be just really scary pain from arthritis. They gave me an injection of what I needed and I followed up with my doctor. It’s been a very pleasant experience for me each time.

Excellent service! My grandmother was taken of with a great hospitality. Thanks to Dr. Snediker for having patience and going the extra mile to explain. Also to Joel Maldonado, our nurse, for taking my grandma all the way to our car when she couldn't walk well. Amazing staff and experience.

The nurses and staffing were really nice took good care of me. Only last day of stay there was a nurse that did not really want to be there giving negative feed vack of my situation. Didn't even inform of my discharge and basically rushing me to take my belongings and go. Really rude and nasty.

I had fainted while working out and scratched my face pretty bad against the concrete floor. The ambulance came to pick me up. Firs, they weren’t friendly. Mind you, I’m a young man and just a simple “don’t worry it’s going to be okay” would have made me feel exponentially better. I still had blood on my face up until we got to the hospital. Once at the hospital and lying on a stretcher, they left me in the LOBBY for around 30 minutes. Then they proceeded to take me to a room in which I probably spent another 20-30 minutes until my mother arrived. At this point I still had blood on my face. They hadn’t done anything to me for over an hour. All in all, one of the worst experiences of my entire life. I am certain I would rather die than get on that ambulance just to be a lobby exhibition.
